Stopped in last night around 6:45, the employees were excellent along with all the food ordered. Restaurant was spotless, food was hot and all the customers were enjoying themselves, great place for chicken.

Never actually been inside here as we normally spin through when we get into town on our way to see family. What I can say is the chicken here is absolutely Delicious. We love all the sauces and their ranch is top shelf. I tried their garlic bread on this most recent trip and Yum buttery and fluffy and delicious. I also found it to be pretty reasonably priced for a good amount of food. We are a family of five so that's a great find. We will definitely be making this a usual stop when passing through the Helotes area.

I'm sorry, DO NOT buy wings here...why does the lemon pepper wings have to be about cooked to 177 degrees internal and the results are Horrible. The wings are too over cooked. Additionally, do not expect shakes at this location even though they are advertised in the store on the menu. Fries .. overcooked. The toast was the best thing placed in front of me. However, the chicken strips and chocolate brownie was absolutely delightful so my children tell me.

I was in the area and tried Slim C for takeout. Eat in area looked nice but I wanted to beat traffic, covered outdoor seating as well. Overall clean, not too busy, friendly service, fair prices. Food was only okay though.

Rounding down from say 4.4 stars. Harsh right? Well the first visit was 5 but the next was a struggle to get both drinks and then any bread (both meals said they came with toast). In the end we only got one toast in total. I will return and try to u0grade to 5 if this was a one-off.

My first time visiting slim’s chicken was very disappointing. Gabriel was not equipped with the knowledge nor the skills to take order or hand out food at the window. He needs to be at the back of the house focusing on cleaning for sure. Lastly, he gave me my food very aggressively and didn’t have the decency to say “you have a great day”. Slim Chicken do better please, as i will be going back to Canes moving forward.
Update: My order was inaccurate and I had to drive back 10 minutes and they didn’t show any sign of empathy nor offered an apology! Yep, this is my first and last time visiting Slim’s Chicken.
I stopped in and tried the 3-piece chicken tenders meal for the first time. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the size of the tenders, they were some very slim chicken tenders. On the bright side, the chicken itself was tasty, and the service was fast. Not worth the value for $10 meal.

The best thing this place has is their tender bites and desert cups. Their wings are straight trash. I have ordered lemon pepper wings 2 different occasions and months apart and have received only plain wings no seasoning straight trash. So I won't ever order their wings again. Their fries are garbage.
