We used to love staying here. Our last trip in June 2024 sadly was our final stay. The entire place is just run down 😥. Rooms are not clean, pool area was full of trash, and the furniture was torn up. The furniture in the rooms is old & run down and broken. Outside sitting area is just plain dirty. Everything outside needs pressure washing. Just really sad to see a place we enjoyed going to for years so run down now.
My family of 13 people booked to stay there Friday May 30th to June 2nd and only stayed the night of the 30th and left before 5pm on the 1st due to the conditions we were not informed of until arrival. There was no power hours prior and we were not notified, despite them having our phone number on paper to contact us. The 2 employees that checked us in on the 30th left soon after, and left us no way to contact anybody, even after one of the smoke alarms was malfunctioning through...read full review
I recommend the restaurant! Food and service outstanding! Resort rooms need housekeeping staff. No one picks up dirty laundry. You have to go to store and exchange daily. No outside garbage cans at rooms like previously had. No working laundromat. Previously had this. New management since last year.
Needs lots of repairs and improvements.

Fin & Feather Resort is a well-maintained and clean destination with a pleasant presentation. The resort features a nice pavilion, on-site store, restaurant, pool, and RV spots, although the latter can be pricey for monthly rentals. The rooms are comfortable and clean, if a bit dated. The staff and guests are friendly, making for a great time. The resort is situated on beautiful Toledo Bend Reservoir, ideal for those with a boat for fishing and water sports. However, it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues due to steep hills. Despite some drawbacks, Fin & Feather Resort has potential and is a great spot for a relaxing getaway.
