Hemphill BBQ is known for its delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. Many veterans and patriotic individuals are often spotted there, making it feel very homey with regular and new guests being greeted as they enter. The ribs are a popular menu item, and the meat has a wonderful smoke flavor that doesn’t even need BBQ sauce, but adding it takes the meal to another level. Fur babies can also enjoy a meal here. The loaded potatoes are said to be the biggest and best around, and the rib sandwich is a highlight as well. The praline cheesecake and a case full of homemade desserts, including pies that some claim are better than their own, are highly recommended. In addition to the restaurant, Hemphill BBQ also offers cabins for stay, which are clean, beautiful, and fully equipped. The cabins are located right by the lake, offering a dock and a view of the waves.
