“We don't like to get donuts anywhere else. In Houston, most folks will direct you to Sh*pley's and say they are the best and I beg to differ. After Snowflake being our go to for our Friday morning donuts breakfast treat for so long, we tried the other one time and my kids wouldn't eat them as they were TOO sweet (their words, shockingly) and I agreed. Snowflake's donuts offer the best balance of a good dough and level sweetness in their glaze. We always get donuts holes, but have also ordered the following... Chappell Hill Kolache, Country Boy Kolache, sausage biscuit, ham and chz croissant, sausage egg chz croissant, apple fritter, glazed sprinkle donut and the old fashioned glazed donut. All delicious. The apple fritter is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way I like it. The coffee is just like some good, 'ol gas station or church coffee. The ambience is nothing that makes you want to sit and partake, but then again most folks don't find themselves needing to sit down in a donuts shop these days. The environment and restroom is clean and to me that's the most important thing for when you just 'gotta go'.
