Food was really good, we got there about an hour before closing, and the servers were prompt on everything. Refilled our drinks well, even though they was busy cleaning til we left. Tried the new deep fried brisket, it was very good! Also did the chicken fried chicken which was good too. The sweet potato fries had like cinnamon or something on them, they were addictingly good! Found this place in Henderson, TX on Yelp! and we're SO glad we did!! Our first time, we're told they're a chain, very clean, food quick, hot and YUMMY! Dr. Pepper BBQ (lightly) sauced brisket quesadilla w/guacamole, sour cream and pico....lunch sized Chicken fried chicken served w/jalapeño gravy and fries...both very good, plentiful. Definitely a place we'll return to or we'll look for another Cotton Patch Cafe!
