The Star Cafe is one of a few diners in East Texas that has pie. The chicken fried steak was delicious and tender. Real ingredients make for great food! The buttermilk and the coconut cream pies were very good.

Small town like cafe with good waitresses and good coffee ā BUT !!! The food was yuck ! Waffles of rubber and slim Jim chicken strips . I ordered coffee and changed it to Dr. Pepper I was double charged.... How unfair y'all ! No worries imma not a comin back there again š

Stopped in on s Saturday and I was impressed. The staff was friendly and was always hustling. We had breakfast. Very good. Eggs, sausage, bacon, hash browns, toast, and coffee. They have a buffet M-F and Sunday.
