Their onion rings on the appetizer menu are great. The staff was friendly and the food didn't take too long. Friends took pictures with the bull in the front of the restaurant.

I went here several times over a fortnight stay on business. The food, service, and atmosphere were very good. Steaks are excellent as are baked potato, mashed potatoes, chicken mescalero (sp?), and I was surprised to enjoy fresh and correctly cooked broccoli. The beer is plentiful and cold and they have a full bar. If I were returning to Hereford I wouldn't even consider going someplace else. What a relief to find a great restaurant in such a hustling and bustling stiff blue collar town! They may close at nine but get there by eight(!) and they're closed Sundays.

They charge more for their steak then places like Salt Grass or other nice places, we had chicken fried steak - weird flavor, chicken alfredo tasted like the grill - cucumbers in the salad was bitter - My wife's chicken wasn't even edible (Chicken Mascalero) or whatever the hell they call it

we waited over an hour for our food not counting the 25 minutes before they came to ask for our drinks. waitresses couldn't be bothered to stop by and ask how the food was. or if we needed anything

Looking for a great place to have dinner we ordered some margaritas, bloody Mary and they were lacking taste, ordered Chicken fried steak was over cooked burnt edges, not a great flavor. We also ordered chopped beef steak which was a great choice, with sides of mashed potatoes and grilled greanbeans. Service was lacking as well. Hope to try it again next time we are in town and things are better.

I had the larger catfish option, which I've had before, but this time the strip were like a kids meal. There was a huge difference in size from the previous times. I was so surprised that I asked the waitress to make sure and she said it was the larger portion.
