Great service, these folks are from I believe Thailand, won a lottery there, came to Hewitt, purchased Daylight Donuts. They've done a great job, work hard and have the best donuts in town. Expect like their large sausage and cheese. Go by and give them a try!!

Absolutely the BEST apple fritter I have ever had, and almost the only donut type pastry I like. Ok, I'm an apple fritter connaisseur. Why is it so great? Well, first, it is nice and crispy on the outside with tender but well done dough on the inside. Second, there is plenty of apple in it. Third, and perhaps best (IMHO) is that they use plenty of cinnamon in their apple fritters. Shipley's may have slightly bigger (and more expensive) fritters but Daylight Donuts on Hewitt raises this to an art form. Gotta limit myself to one a month or I'll be the size of the Michelin Man.

This place has the best donuts I’ve ever had. Every time I go there I get a FRESH breakfast sandwich and donuts that were just baked. Owners are determined as hell, super nice, and work their tail off every day. I’m not going anywhere else!

Wanted to try a kalache but I guess gotta be earlier for that. (10am) I got a classic croissant the outside was hardend and tuff and the inside was kinda hollow except a bit of dough at the bottom that seemed not cooked all the way. The staff was nice though. If you go in watch your knees at the regular tables.
