Mac N Cheese, Fries, Chicken Tenders, Catfish, and the BISCUIT! I’m telling you what if you are in the Waco area Mac’s has some fantastic tasting food! Best Honey Butter Biscuit I’ve ever had. Also the tenders and fish are hand battered there. Season is definitely used! Chicken was very moist as well!

Drew was a very personable young man. He took our order and was attentive and welcoming. The catfish basket x2 with mac&cheese and greens. Those BISCUITS were OH-mazing! So for us we don’t get great service and great food. We are normally not that lucky. That was a fantastic meal. The fish had a great texture it was large whole filets. Nothing skimpy about those two pieces of fish. Drew hand battered the fresh catfish. No fishy smell in the area. The light batter and perfectly seasoned by the way was the top three I’ve had in my almost 40 yrs. That biscuit was top two. The greens needed 15 more minutes and a touch of vinegar and some sugar. Still good. The Mac and cheese was on point. One of my boys got a Roni bowl and it was very sad state of affairs. The mini funnel cake was a Texas version. It was huge. It was good. This place is a must if you’re near the area. Keep up the great work Drew!

Went to the Waco event today at Doris Miller and the food was great. It was hot and had great flavor. Ordered fish, tenders, and chicken. Only got one tender on each plate but the food was free so we didn’t complain and we will go back to the restaurant and eat too later.

A family member got a meal here and I had a taste of their hush puppies. My jaw dropped and I had to go back to order a side for all of us to share! Literally the best crunch on the outside and soft inside 10/10

Absolutely hands down the best catfish I’ve ever had. It was ever so lightly fried in a slightly sweet but also salty batter. Pair that with collard greens that were seasoned just right and not too soupy I could eat this meal five times over. And let’s not forget the absolute bomb of their honey butter biscuit. Moist and salty with the right touch of sweetness from the honey butter. Nothing was overdone. I will absolutely be back!

I ordered a fish plate that came with 2 pieces of fish and coleslaw, no hush puppies no fries. I ordered an extra side of coleslaw, got home started to eat and the fish was super salty,very dry and the coleslaw was like soup I literally threw it all away after not being able to get an answer when calling. The food was terrible and will not be returning not if they offered to cater 2 of my events for free. Must do better with answering the phone so inconvenient to have to drive back across town just to talk to someone about your order! ?
