Good service, nice atmosphere, good food
Great food and great staff!
This place is an awesome place to eat. Not only is the food to die for but the owner interacts with his customers which makes it very welcoming and comfortable!!! I love this place and will definitely be returning very soon!!! Ohhhh and the peach cobbler is a must try!!❤️
Great food and atmosphere. Their fried pickles are my favorite! Here’s a tip….never poke the bottom of the beer glass. Lesson learned the first time ??
This is a newly opened business, and I decided to give it a try for an early lunch. It was not very busy, so I had no trouble parking or being seated. It's clean and still looks brand new inside. The brisket tacos were good as were the fried jalapeño sticks. It's not like a Top 50 barbecue place, but was good for a quick lunch. I'll come back.
Service was fast and the staff were friendly, I had the brisket tacos which were good but we also had ribs which were very hard to get any meat off of, the potato salad was dry and way too much pickle/dill, the peach cobbler didn't taste anything like cobbler either and barely any peach in it and more like bread and cinnamon than anything else. I think it really depends on what you get here if it's good or not...not sure if I'll go back.
Our first time at this newest restaurant in Hewitt, which opened in January. We will definitely be back! The food was fantastic and so was the service. Service was beyond compare and very very friendly. Reasonably priced for quality food.
So, my wife and I tried this place out today. They weren't busy (three to four groups in the 2 o'clock hour). The interior of the restaurant is spacious with either bar seating, tall tables, or regular tables. The seats for the tall table are a bit less than comfortable. There is a patio equipped with several tables, freestanding heaters, and fans for whatever weather. There is an actual bar inside, but I cannot speak on quality or pricing for their alcohol. Numerous televisions throughout the place. The menu is relatively small and fairly simple, although the layout is not great. Some of the text is bold and the letters almost bleed into one another. This might be an issue for certain people with visual impairments. The prices were good. Appetizers ranged from $3-10 or so with things like wings and burnt ends going up to $12-14. Entrees ran between $10-16 with the BBQ plates going up to $27 for four choices of meat. The food was good. My wife elected to have the Mac and Cheese with pulled pork. The Mac and cheese was more akin to Velveeta shells and cheese, but definitely not boxed. I had a quesadilla with pulled pork and the "Big Jo Burger". The pulled pork was a little dry, but the quesadilla was served with BBQ sauce (sweet, not tangy) and salsa (which was a surprising highlight), plus sour cream. The burger was well made and filling, with bacon and brisket in addition to the patty. Brisket was lean, but good. Now, our server was Keith. Keith did an amazing job. He was attentive, patient, and even brought cheese sauce used for the Mac and Cheese as a suggestion for my burger without prompting.Needless to say, we'll most likely end up visiting again in the future.
Went there for dinner, and the food was delicious! We've been there a couple times before, but this was our first time at their new location. Employees were very friendly and they had great customer service. They even had a live music event featuring local artists! Highly recommend if you're looking for somewhere with a friendly environment, great entertainment, and delicious food!
It's nice to have another option on this side of Hewitt Drive away from the craziness up the road. Our waitress, Savanah, was extremely sweet and professional. The food was decent, a bit dry on some of the meats and the pulled pork seemed salty, but the sides were great. We'll be back to give it a second go.

Second time here and it did not disappoint! We had the best burger- Breakfast at Baylor- and a Triple B Tater. Such a fantastic lunch and great staff. A must try if you are looking for a great meal.
As a young man in east Texas, I worked at a BBQ restaurant where the owner was a true genius. Russell's brisket was a work of art, his beans and hashbrowns known for counties around. I've traveled the world the past 40 years, and no BBQ joints have ever measured up to Russell's Ranch House (including the world famous KC Masterpiece in Kansas City). Until now. This Triple B's Smokehouse has changed the rules. It is absolutely fantastic! We were welcomed at the door and sat down right where we asked. Open floor plan, with bar seating, bar height tables, regular tables, and nice covered outdoor seating. They had heaters out there tonight. Very nice. Our waitress was at our table immediately, and she was polite, smart & eager to make our dinner out a good time. The menu was completely revamped from what is shown in the other review. Amazing selection of sandwiches, entrees, side dishes, you name it. We had to make some difficult decisions, while drinking some good, cold draft beers. When our food selections were brought out, I was blown away. The family platter had 4 healthy servings of perfectly smoked meats. The brisket was trimmed & sliced exactly the way it should be. The sides were big, and OMG the green beans were fantastic. Yes - green beans! Daughter's baked potato smothered in brisket was a whopper. She devoured it. It gets better --- we had banana pudding, and it was better than your Mom makes it. Plus, I had an apple cobbler (cobbler!!) that was the best apple dessert I've ever had. The owners were on-site, and they are a gracious, welcoming couple, easy to talk to & grateful for the chance to serve their family recipes to my family. Triple B's -- prices were right, portions were generous, service was excellent, and the food was wonderful!
Ordered the two meat platter about a week after new years. So much hype and recommendations to try this place. Only compliment was the food was warm and friendly bartender for takeout. Meat was cut up to 3 yr old slices and the watery sauce was overwhelming with vinegar. Next to poverty level servings tied up with the brick hard generic white bread. Lots of issues here from what I read and all true. Will never spend $23 for $4 of boring food here again. By the way, your kid staff, pants sagging on the phone really shows poor management for good customers. Good luck, I'll head back to uncle Dan's.
Excellent bbq!
Had a great lunch today here with the kids. The brisket macaroni was awesome. All my kids wanted more. Good atmosphere and great outdoor seating. We will definitely be back.
