Basic Benedict was delicious!

Water was spilled on my husbands lap. Then our food came out except my husbands. All our food got cold waiting for his. When I finally was able to cut into my country fried steak it was burned to a crisp.

So impressed with this place! We went for Father’s Day brunch so they were busy, but every employee was HUSTLING and working hard. We were checked on multiple times by multiple people, including the manager a couple times. Kid friendly too, we had our 7 month old and felt very comfortable. We will be back when we’re in town 😊

Regular pancakes were cold even after we got them replaced

Three stars for effort, not execution.

This brunch spot has friendly, attentive service that makes you want to like the place—but the food just doesn’t hold up its end of the deal. The eggs Benedict come topped with a hollandaise sauce that tastes suspiciously like it came from a packet—grainy, tangy in the wrong way, and utterly lacking that silky richness you’d expect. As for the pancakes: undercooked and doughy in the center, more batter than brunch.

If you’re here for bottomless coffee and a warm smile, you’ll leave satisfied. But if you’re brunching for the food, you may want to keep looking.

Went there for the 1st time last Saturday. The service and the food were both excellent. Amber was on top of everything and was very knowledgable about the menu items. Husband had a ‘skillet’ breakfast and I had the granola/berry French toast. We left very little food and we didn’t need much to eat afterwards. The food was filling and kept us going until late afternoon. I recommend this restaurant and will be back! Highland Village Texas location

The food and drinks were all okay. The wait was also quite long and the app was not very accurate about wait times. With so many other brunch options, I'm not sure I would return.

My family and I decided to try Honey Berry Pancakes & Café for the first time today for breakfast, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. Upon entering, there was a noticeable wait before we could even attempt to place an order. Our waitress, Tatiana, eventually came over and asked if we wanted drinks. I declined and proceeded to ask questions about the menu and a special they had. I explained that I wasn’t interested in the house special since it contained meat and an omelette, and asked if they had a similar special without those items. Tatiana’s response was rude, dismissive, and visibly irritated. The level of unprofessionalism and poor customer service was shocking. My family and I decided not to dine there due to how uncomfortable we felt. However, before leaving, I stopped at the front desk to report the incident and was met by Raven, the operations manager. To my disbelief, she was just as dismissive and unpleasant as Tatiana. For a first-time visit, it was a truly poor experience, and we do not plan to return. If you’re looking for a welcoming, customer-oriented dining experience, this is not the place. It’s unfortunate that in today’s world, where human interaction is increasingly being replaced by automated systems, some individuals still choose to treat paying customers with such disregard. Prayers for the team – they may need it more than they realize. Downtown Chicago on State Street!

Unsettling Experience at Honey Berry Pancakes & Café – Lansing, IL Today after church, my husband and I visited Honey Berry Pancakes & Café in Lansing, excited to enjoy brunch together. I approached the front counter to ask how long the wait would be for a booth and whether I needed to leave a name. The hostess politely said it would be about 15 minutes and that we could simply wait—no name required. As I moved toward the waiting area, several customers in line suddenly began confronting me. I was accused of skipping the line and was told loudly and aggressively to “shut up.” I calmly explained that I had just spoken to the staff, but the group continued to berate me. When I tried to ask the restaurant a clarifying question, the verbal attacks escalated. I was publicly humiliated, and the situation was made worse by the fact that no staff member stepped in to address the hostility or support a peaceful guest trying to follow the process. My husband and I chose to leave. I was shaking in the car and broke down in tears. This wasn’t just a poor dining experience—it was a deeply upsetting moment that could have been prevented or softened with staff attentiveness and basic human decency. I sincerely hope management takes steps to ensure that the front-of-house staff monitor these situations better and are empowered to step in when guests are being treated unfairly. I share this review not out of anger, but out of hope that no one else has to feel the way I did in a place meant to bring comfort and joy.
