Family dinner on Good Friday was excellent with lots of fish choices on the menu. The service and the food were both great. We have dined there twice now and can highly recommend the fish and Guatemalan menu items!

Our previous visits here have been A+. I have even brought my community here with 25+ people. Tonight was a cluster anomaly…started with waiter delivering water jug (love this), but had to ask twice for water glasses. Received our Tortilla Soup without “rolled napkin”. When I grabbed napkin from another table our waiter responded with “there is a spoon with the soup.” This was true, but sorry- we wanted a napkin for our laps. We specifically asked for Chardonnay. He brought a bottle of Pinot Grigio. The food was so different from our previous experiences that we asked if there was a new chef. We were charged 75 cents each for requesting jalapeños and tomatoes for our tacos. Could share more craziness from tonight, but thinking this sufficiently describes our evening. ???

The best food in the area, Guatemalan food is the best, its flavors and most importantly healthy, made with spices and vegetables, the chef explained to us part of the procedures used in his kitchen, and the prices are reasonable for the quality and flavors, He clarified that it is not the regular Tex Mex food that you find in all the restaurants, its concept is Guatemalan with homemade, healthy flavors, the best thing is that they do not use any pork fat, only organic oils. Visit and support the place! ???????

The food is ok, but the offerings at the previous concept they used to run (Taco Cielo) were so much better. Now its just another "upscale" place with overpriced average food.

Visited Taro's as a family last week. We were seated immediately and served complimentary chips and salsa, while our drinks were being furnished. Unfortunately, the chips were saltless and a tad thick for my liking and the two kinds of salsa bland and diluted. When our drinks arrived promptly, we put in orders for a couple of authentic Guetamalan Red Snapper seafood dishes and a couple of Ahi Tuna Steak dishes. The dishes arrived after a rather long wait and sizzled on our table. The Ahi Tuna steak dishes were excellent, while the two red snapper dishes were good but a tad on the bland side for my tastebudsOverall, we enjoyed the meal, but in my opinion the dishes could certainly have been a little more spicier. Three stars is all I can give them this time(food, service, prices)I intend to visit this unique Guetamalan location again to explore other dishes. Hope they prove me wrong then!

Churrasquito Guatemalteco, basically a Guatemalan carne asada was unbelievable! I have NEVER had that cut of meat before so tender.Wife had Fajitas beef and shrimp. All ingredients are made fresh. Guacamole as sides were rival to table side style at our favorite place.Highly recommend. Jayne took good care of us and the chef came by to ask how we liked it.Amazing food and service!

Presentation is great but definitely on the pricier end and not as flavorful.

Terrific Latin restaurant (think Mexican with more or additional flavors) here in FM/HV area. Great alternative or change-of-pace to all these Mexican options in town. We need more unique and interesting options with charm and character like this place. Great sit at the bar for dinner date night place. We loved it and will certainly be back again soon - we need to add this into our rotation for sure.

Update 1/30/2024; On Tuesday's they have their fajita deal and I can't say enough how delicious the food is. Their beef fajita meat is one of the most tender and flavorful that I have ever had. Please go by and support this local jewel.Food is fantastic, great service and everything tastes delicious and fresh! They also have awesome drinks. I highly recommend this restaurant!
