We ate here about a month after it opened and again last night for my daughter's birthday. Unfortunately, everything was bad from start to finish on both occasions. We will never return.

Just recently opened and were out of fried zucchini and stuffed mushrooms appetizers on a Saturday evening - someone needs to look at their ordering. We waited the usual 50 minutes so business is good. Couldn't find the Coconut Curry on the menu, a usual order for 1 of us.

Is it just me, or when did the Cheesecake Factory become “high-end”? I’ve always thought of it as a ton of food at a reasonable price, but $10.50 for a kids meal? Not including a drink, which was $1.50. And it’s a kids portion. I wanted to substitute one side for fruit and that was $2.50. For a small dish of sliced fruit. So, we paid $14.50 for a kids portion of food. And it was just plain grilled chicken, broccoli, 2 tbsp of mashed potatoes. I’m dumbfounded. The adult dishes weren’t worth their price either. It’s just way too expensive for mediocre food. Cheesecake is still good, but 1 slice was skimpy while the other slice was the size expected (but was frozen in the middle). The service was great and friendly. Attentive, but not over bearing. We won’t be back. I’d rather spend the money they charge on better places.

Good food. Good service. Don't allow concealed or open carry so only criminals can carry handguns. Not smart. They don't relize this is TEXAS, not California. Liberal communist ideaology.

Ordered three drinks an appetizer came pretty quick our calamari was oily. Order our meal we sat there and waited one hour for our dinners. The waitress said the kitchen was backup but coming out shortly but never came. It was weird mostly everyone around us was getting there meal. Had to leave and had to go to another restaurant to eat. Never gave us anything complimentary. Would never go there again now I know why they got three point star.

People unable to help with simple reservations. I followed the online instructions for a group of 8. It told me to call and make a reservation for 8 and it can’t be done. I asked for manager and they would not help. I was told walk in and wait 1 hour. Not a place for groups of 8

We went here to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the booths are comfortable, with plenty of space between you and the next patron. Of note was how clean everything was, especially my silverware. Off to a nice start. The food selection was good, but the food itself, not so much. I ordered a bacon burger, and I'm pretty sure that was Ranch dressing on the top bun and Thousand Island on the bottom. The menu said nothing of it, neither did my waitress. The menu actually says a free slice (assuming of cheesecake) on your birthday. Our waitress was having none of that. She worked every angle to not bring the birthday boy anything, and in the end, she won. Some birthday dinner, right? We wanted to take a whole cheesecake home, and our waitress almost insisted we order it through her instead of the counter. We wanted our cheesecake to actually come, so we declined and went to the counter. The nice girl behind the counter said it would be 10-15 minutes. That seemed long, but when she never called and I went back to check, she had no idea about my order. This is the girls I "just" ordered it from, but I had to show her my receipt as proof. Another 10-15 minutes later, we got our cheesecake. The prices are ridiculous. I dropped $150 for a family of four and with service/prices like that, we won't be going back, ever. Buyer Beware!

Kyra's service was top notched! We were both amazed at how delicious our meals were. The crowning glory was the homemade whipped cream on our cheesecakes. Thanks for great service and unforgettable main course and dessert! We will be back!

Took my niece there to celebrate her birthday. Started out ok the resturant is new seem clean the tables seem to close to each other. Our waitress did not bring us the basket of bread u get in the beginning had to ask for it but notice she was bring out bread to other tables. We order drinks and appetizer that came pretty quick even though the calamari was oily. Ordered our meal which was taking long everyone who walk in got there meal quicker then us. The waitress kept on saying the kitchen is backup ur meal will be out shortly waited one hour had to tell the waitress give me the check. Was disappointed how long we had to wait for our food. The waitress asked if we wanted salads but never asked if it was complimentary for waiting long. She should of ask the manager to have either the appetizer or drinks or both for free for us not getting our meal. Would never go there again should of known better when I tried to call three times and the phone was off the hook. My advice a manager should be walking around the restaurant asking the people how is everything how is ur food now i know why this restaurant got a three point star. BTW its very expensive for poor service.

Service was fine. Food was poor. My dish was cold. the other dish Orange chicken ( ordered many times before) appears to have been tossed in the wrong sauce first and then in the correct one giving it an odd taste and make the crust of the chicken soggy...disappointing visit

I've tried to allow enough time to pass since opening before leaving a review to get through growing pains but things are not getting better here. The biggest problem is that their phones are constantly down. And while that may not be entirely managements fault... what is their fault, is that if you are aware your phones are down, you should have staff carefully monitoring the curbside pickup parking. There is nothing more upsetting that when you order curbside because you are not dressed or not feeling well enough to go inside, and you are forced to go in because the phones are down, and no one is monitoring the curbside pickup. Another catalyst for finally leaving a review, is that on my last order, the salmon was wayyy over cooked. If you charge $27 for salmon, it better be cooked perfectly. The salmon I got should have never been given to a customer. The staff at the to go counter have continuously had poor customer service and have a very nonchalant attitude. Highland Village is very local customer based. You guys need to do better if you want to keep business. You won't be saved just because it's a high traffic from all over dfw area.
