I used to live at hilltop lakes a very long time ago when I was about 13 teen years old and had a wonderful time back

This place has been closed since July. Just an FYI.
So peaceful.... Relaxing. Wished I lived there.... Retired.
I get out on motorcycle for lunch rides. This place had glowing reviews so I thought I would give it a try. The Overlook is a community restaurant behind a guarded entrance. It has a camp type atmosphere, that obviously caters to the residents. After the host mentioned she didn't recognize me, I was told that it was carry out only Mo-Th, but guests could use their tables. It's "like a picnic" she said and that I had to order at the cash register. So, I ordered quickly. Other guests arrived, were greeted familiarly, seated and served them at their tables. My order came, the meat was tough, the chips were soggy but the coke was good. No one asked if I needed anything or enjoyed my meal. Then I left. My suggestion is that if you aren't from around there, you may want to go on down the road.
The BEST in the County....love the atmosphere, the waitstaff are awesome. Even the Restaurant managers were accommodating. The food was absolutely fantastic....
