We drove by going somewhere else and came back and stopped for lunch an 80-year-old Eatery food is good atmosphere was great The Waitresses were nice we'll go back

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years and today was by far the worst experience yet! The restaurant was very busy, great for them! I love to see good business. However, the service and quality of food was far below standard today. Our server was a younger woman, very rude and emotionless the entire time. Didn’t come to check on us for 30+ minutes while we waited almost an hour for our food. Which was then served cold! I ordered a kids chicken strip basket and received it as the table was finishing already and asked for a to go box. Was met with more attitude and rolling eyes. Our entire table needed refills and were never checked on or even asked if we were doing okay. I understand the food taking a bit longer than normal, however it finally coming cold and then some dishes even later is just unacceptable. A child in our party ordered a corndog and was notified after almost an hour of waiting that they were out so they had to order something else which was a toss up if it’d take another 45 minutes to make. Overall, other servers/cashiers were arguing with each other and giving each other attitude which made for a very awkward ambiance overall. Will not be returning any longer. Save your time and your money!

This is a po-dunk hole in the wall, middle of nowhere over-priced short order Cafe. Nothing on their menu is worth the price connected to it. Also, who puts crispy Chinese noodles on their side salads? That is the oddest addition to a salad I've ever seen! Their breading on their chicken fried steak is delicious, but gets soggy real quick under all that gravy! The waitress should ask if people want it on the side to keep that from happening. Soggy breadingon cfs is gross & unappetizing. Do better.

Old favorite of mine. Been going there off and on for 50 years. I used to get the 28oz sirloin for 10$.. now it's a 26oz for 33$. Could had used more flavor on the meat. Still everything else was and always has been spot on. The cool thing is they serve things ya don't find most places. Like calf frys.
Appreciated the side salads and the food was very good overall. Enjoyed the sweet potato fries. Only reason I give 3 stars is because I was charged twice for one of our meals. Only realized after we'd left, unfortunately. Bummer. Wish they had given us a breakdown of the receipt before we paid.
