“It was my first time in this place! I came from San Antonio and I don't care if I have to drive almost an hour to get delicious food and huge portions! This place is simply one of the best I ate before! I get the steak and shrimp plate!, From appetizer the fried mushrooms! And my sides was sweet potato fries (delicious) and mashed potatoes with gravy! I repeat definitely I don't care drive all the way from San Antonio just to enjoy a nice and delicious meal! Very friendly staff and Quality food!”

I had such a great experience at Dockery’s here in Karnes City! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and the service was top-notch. A big shout-out to Alexis Ayers, who made the visit even more enjoyable. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect.

“Solidly good Tex-Mex in an unpretentious, comfortable, atmosphere. There was a live Tejano group playing when we were there. Too loud to talk but we LOVED IT! Wait staff is friendly and super helpful. We both had cheese enchiladas with queso dip sauce and they were delicious, as was the rice and beans. We loved the chips and salsa, too. We will most definitely be back. Perfect place to stop on our way from San Antonio to the coast.”

“I was walking and decided to order ahead online, which said It would be ready in about 10 minutes or so for 8 tenders, a side, biscuit and 2 pies. When I arrived it was a little busy with maube like 3 people inside but like not anymore then a regular fast food joint. Food ending up talking at least an additional 10 to 15 minutes. Definitely not ideal, but overall the tenders were great, garlic parm dry rub was a little clumpy and odd though. Mac and cheese was really salty, not sure what was up but it was off and I wasn't the biggest fan. The real stand out are of course the fried blueberry cheese cake pies. Ladies behind the counter we friendly but definitely struggling a bit I'd say.”
