This place was a great stop for us on a rather long drive. The food was wonderful. My wife and I both had ruben sandwiches. The German potato salad was tasty. The sweet potato fries were unlike any other I have ever had. The prices were great, the service wonderful, and the atmosphere was rustic and cozy, like an old farmhouse. The bathrooms were clean.
My food was too hot and I was swatting flies but the lady that served us was bossy and fun. I probably won’t return, but I have friends that do there a lot so it’s just not for me; not bad at all.

The Chicken fried Steak was outta this world good ! The gravy was perfectly spiced and tasty too. My portion was generous but I sure could of had another one because it was that good! The French fries were fluffy on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. They serve you plenty.This place is a nice family restaurant but the singles do mingle .I can't wait to go home to Beeville because next time I land in S.A from Chicago ---my rental car is going straight to this place...read full review
