Some of the best brisket in Texas. Ill find something to do in Hondo just for a reason to go and eat here. All the sides are great, really cant go wrong with any order. 10 stars!
We drove by and saw how packed this place was and knew we had to stop! It’s a cute, small town, joint. Nice wooden chairs and tables, baked goods too. $22 and Shared a two meat portion plated double brisket and greeen beans and potato salad. Brisket was BOMB and bbq sauce was amazing! Totally recommend passing bill millers and hot this place!!
Good BBQ, fast friendly service. On this visit, I ordered two meat plates, ribs, brisket, baked beans, coleslaw, and potatoes salad, as well as a chopped beef sandwich and baked potatoes. The peach cobbler left something to be desired and was not what I expected. The top had a thin crust, but the bottom was like very soft chewy dough and overly sweetened. Needless to say, as for their BBQ, there is a reason why this place should be ranked in one of the top twenty best BBQ...
