Nice place to visit. The steak was good. The rest of the food wasn't the best, but was edible. The Pizza Hut just down the road is likely the better choice if you're wanting a good meal when visiting Hondo. Hermann, it wasn't bad, but not quite as good as I would have expected. I was happy about the T-shirt I got from the gift shop so props to that.

Beautiful outside area which is the only reason I rate it so highly. We were told this place had amazing food but we must have gone on one of their bad days because the chicken I ordered was not edible, coffee watered down. For the price, it's definitely not worth it but again maybe we just went on a bad day? Not going to risk trying again though, sorry.Kid-friendliness: Outside area is very well decorated with tether ball and a big backyard style area for them to run around.

Had a great time celebrating a family birthday! Steaks were done to perfection, the sides were surprisingly tasty, especially the green beans and their grilled shrimp was to die for!! The Mango margarita is amazing and so is the long island iced tea! Thinking about going back for their date night special ❤️ 10 outta 10!!

We decided to finally stop here after passing by Hondo many trips. This is home cooking at its finest! Fried mushrooms have the perfect amount of batter and flavor, cat fish was perfect and the house ranch is dam good along with the thousand Island that came with my salad. Amber took good care of us and will definitely ask for her next time we go. Also try the Coconut moraine pie ?.

First time visiting this restaurant; it did not disappoint. Sara, our server was great! She was very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was good, music was not loud at all, we could hear each other talk. Food was delicious. The Alvin’s Pepper Steak, could have used a little more seasoning but overall it was juicy and delicious. ? my friend had the steak- he said it was cooked very well. Thumbs up! Fried mushrooms were good, the crispy fries were good too. Sweet tea was freshly brewed! Overall, I would return and recommend this place!

Steak was perfect. It was better than Texas Roadhouse. The baked potato was hard and cold though. Great dining experience otherwise. I'd recommend for steak lovers. I'd love to try the filet mignon, but $30 is a bit overpriced to me.

After a great night at Christmas un God’s country we decided to end our evening at Hermann Son’s Steakhouse. We had a great experience, Amber was our waitress and was very attentive and the food was wonderful. One of our favorite places to visit.
