The ONLY thing good about this place was the friendly service. The food is sub par at best. The enchiladas were reminiscent of frozen dinner meal...microwaved with tasteless gravy. The refried beans are likely from a can but were dried out by the microwave. The only decent thing we had was the bacon cheeseburger. It's a smash burger but lacks seasoning. We won't be back.

We were looking forward to eating a good meal after a weekend of camping. This was the wrong place to stop by. My daughter ordered an avocado toast, it was 3 slices of avocado with 2 big slices of tomato, scrambled egg with tons of chili flakes what a disappointment!!! Chili flakes was not mentioned in the menu so my 9 year old couldn't eat it. I ordered a chillaquilles and I got cheese nachos with scrambled egg on top, both orders we requested over easy on the eggs and got scrambled eggs! I'm not Mexican but I know what chillaquilles is supposed to be. We like supporting small local businesses but not with horrible food. The only good thing came out of this meal is we had an awesome server, Chelsea and the staff are nice. The Cook needs to look up these things in the internet so they can better replicate what they have in their menu. Overall, great service but can't offset the uninspired meals. Sonic it is next time we are in the area.

I love the hamburgers at the HONDO café and the tea, know that I am thinking about it they have the best and made french fries anywhere. I want to hamburger this is my go to place. The owners and the wait staff will treat you with such kindness and respect you will feel part of the family.

Super friendly, very attentive hosts! Chicken fried steak for breakfast is a great call, but then so was the meat lover's omelet. So many amazing choices, and all of them made perfectly! Love this place, can't seem to make enough trips there to try everything. Highly recommend!

They have great old fashioned greasy burgers and fries, so good! Everything I've had here has been really good. Love their Greek salad and breakfast too, so hard though not to get the cheese burger every time.The owner is really nice and friendly. Id go more often but they close at 230pm all but 1 night a week so I rarely make it over in time but it's worth it wheni do!

Service extremely slow. Observed other group being served plate at a time, extending service. Ordered BLT, not a great choice. Fries were homemade but a little soft.
Pleasant staff and great food. This was my first visit and if I am ever in the area would like to eat there again.

Nice little spot to stop while your passing through. This place has a good amount of item on their menu. They have friendly staff and pretty accommodating. The portions of food are a bit small but everything is made fresh. It is a nice quiet place if you are going to fast you will pass it. Stop in when passing through.

Food was very good & wont disappoint you when you stop in for a meal while passing through. I had the chorizo egg plate which came with literal home fries & refried beans & your choice of carb. I opted for white toast instead of tortillas. My husband had the French toast plate & had sausage added to the bacon that already came with the platter. They are still serving on paper plates & use disposable plastic ware & single size salt/pepper/syrup. You will find good service, hot tasty food in this tidy no frills cafe.
