The Staff and the Atmosphere was Relaxing and a good place to clear the mind especially if you work a ton and just want a decently quiet place to eat lunch. Recommend the Ruben Sandwich!

I revisited and took a friend with me : ) This time we stayed for lunch and had to try their coffees and well known sandwiches. We were greeted by the same friendly employee when I visited the prior week, and she gave us each a stamp punch card - after so many you get a freebie coffee. FYI they also serve smoothies, not posted yet, and they can make them dairy free! My friend and I shared a Rueben sandwich and chicken salad croissant. Great flavors, but for me the Rueben shined! Lots of flavor. $1 more. My decaf latte with oat milk ($2 extra) and sugar free Belgian cookie syrup was nice. The price for the oat milk was steep, I don't think I've ever paid that much extra. I may skip it next time and go for the caffeine free teas. I ordered a hippie bar and honey glazed pecans to go. I really enjoyed the hippie bar- peanut butter, gluten free oats, chia, seeds, and dried cranberries. Lots of seating inside. There's a conference room- free of charge for ministry meetings and a mic area up front. The owner stopped by our table and greeted us, I just love supporting this local fam owned business. Oh and when we visited the women's restroom... I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful sky ceiling and bird sounds. So soothing and relaxing... I felt like I was transported to a gorgeous serene garden. Big smile on my face!

The food and coffee were very good, although the coffee flavor was on the light side. The breakfast bar was tasty but crumbly. I got the chicken salad on croissant and it was very good. My friend got the Rueben and it was also very good. Lots of searing, nice ambiance, clean restrooms. They rent the space out and have a mic for meetings or music and also a separate room for rent too. Kind of an unusual set up with the meat market/bakery/lunch/coffee hangout but it works.

If you find yourself in the Hondo area, try this quaint little coffee/specialty meats/locally grown and made gifts and treats/sandwich shop. It was rainy and cold and a hot coffee was in order. The shop is run by the sweetest ladies who are very informed on their products. Take a leisurely stroll through the store and check out all the goodies while you wait for your home brewed and crafted delicious coffee.

I like this place. The people are good for Hondo. My wife love the chicken salad. I was very disappointed with the Ruben. IMO Not good. BIG but dry not enough meat not enough dressing. I actually think the rye bread with the biggest problem.Like I implyed I will be back. In fact I wanted to come for breakfast but not a really available. Perhaps they could make some eggs toast and home fries. Imagine toast in the tortilla capital of the world.
I can’t get enough of the club sandwich. There is no better value for a lunch combo in town

HANDS. DOWN. THE. BEST. REUBEN. SANDWICH. I. HAVE. EVER. TASTED. AND I am a Reuben sandwich connoisseur!!!! It was huuuuge, loaded with meat, cheese, & the perfect amount of dressing!! I will be stopping in to eat one every time I pass through when I travel!! P.S. the coffee is A-MAZING TOO!!!???

We came here to support them after starbys moved in 100 feet away… this place will always be superior. I live in Seattle and I must say Starbucks sucks.. this is the best COFFEE AND BAKED GOOD AROUND
