Employee kept my change for herself without even asking if I wanted to keep my change she just pocketed it I called to speak to the manager he got an attitude on the phone over the situation when I was speaking to him right and just bringing it to his attention his employee is not giving customers all their money back.

I use to love, Sonic but something has changed. The chilli cheese dogs aren't as good. The cheese is different and so is the hotdogs. And the prices have gone up.

Ordered on the mobile app yesterday at 7:26 pm while picking up food down the street. Arrived at Sonic and I am not sure what time we got our food. We drove to the next town over where we live, dropped off the food to our girls. My husband and I went out and my daughter texted me at 8:54 that my 4 year old daughter’s hotdog was grey. My 4 year old eats slow and she doesn’t know that a hotdog shouldn’t be grey. I called Sonic at 8:59 pm and the nice young man took my info and said he’d let his GM know. I stopped by tonight to get the hotdogs replaced and he said his GM said because it took me 2 hours to call there was nothing that could be done. This is HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! We do not live in Hondo and can be home within a few minutes. My 4 year old didn’t know to say something about her hotdog. We ordered another hotdog and my daughter said it was grey too. It didn’t even take me 2 hours to call and let them know about the hotdogs. We will not ever go back to this Sonic. We’ll drive to Castroville or Uvalde before going back.

Idc what the other reviews say, this is the best sonic in Texas. Food is fresh everytime I come here. The lady who brought us our food was very polite. 10/10 I had THE sonic drive in experience

The woman said there was no happy hour which everybody knows happy hour is from 8-11 and also 2-5 pm. That wasn't even the problem she kept swiping my card and charged at least 3 fees on my card and when I called I simply asked for my money back and she REFUSED. I didn't catch her name but she works morning shifts. This is the worst Sonid I've ever been to. I'll stick with going to lytle and Devine sonic.
We stopped to eat at the Sonic in Hondo worst place ever to eat don't spend money at this eatery. ..the root beer float was..we'll the root beer was flat the soft serve ice cream not cold had a sour taste to it my sister ordered a foot long coney and ate a fourth hot dog was gross rubbery and cold my mom's Hamburger was served cold if your employees don't want to work the holidays it was 4th of July also staff told us he could not give us our monies back he had a wife two kids and he would be fired they asked if they could offer to remake the food but the 2 ND shake tasted sour and soft serve was warm they would not give us a refund we left dissatisfied and hungry if your employees don't want to work holidays the owner should be closed will be following up with the health dept and employees should not be afraid of getting fired...if we could rate it a zero we would.

Never seem to get online orders correct. Even simple drink order of 2 Dr pepper with easy ice. One was coke and both had more ice than a normal drink would have. And every time we stop here is passing through so by the time we realize the issue we are already out of town.
