Ok coming back thru today going home from a funeral just happened to stop at the Love's and decided we were hungry but didn't want junk food or subway. Looked around and seen Mr D's BBQ and let me tell you. OMG this is the place of the century. I will spread the news all over. Mrs. D you absolutely have the best BBQ ever and the perfect location. Best BBQ ever, I was sitting in my truck debating whether if I should eat McDonald’s or at this tiny little yellow shack and well I didn’t regret it one bit, it’s to die for. Everything was good and it was fast service. Brisket and the Ribs are amazing oh and the sausage but can’t wait to try the chicken.

I wrote a reveiw of this pla e before and now it seems to of vanished somehow ..So ill get this out of the way 1st there is on room to seat 2 ppl no parking besides the road side and no dine in ....HOWEVER KEEP READING....It is the BEST BBQ I've had in years and I like to try them all out and been to Ark.Texas,Oklahoma and Louisiana within a 200mile radius dozens of BBQ places ....This hands down the best damn BBQ in this area for sure ,black women who cooks and runs it amazing ,pleasant and always has a smile to welcome you would recommend it to anyone it's worth any of the neg aspects it may have .I've tried everything they have all DELICIOUS!!!

My husband is a trucker driver and we decided to stop at the Love’s across the street, where we saw Mr. D’s BBQ and thought we should give it a try to get out of the monotony of trucker food. I am SO GLAD we did!!! The food there was absolutely delicious and Mrs. D was a delight! My husband got the gumbo that packed so much flavor! I got the pulled pork sandwich which the pork was tender and the bbq sauce was perfect! We also were given a couple of smoke ribs to try…and oh my goodness!!! They were immediately gobbled up!!! Would 10/10 recommend this place if you are stopping in Texarkana!!!

Been coming to the love's truck stop across the street for a while and finally realized what was across the street. Now I don't come here without grabbing a plate! Even adjusted my routes before just to make sure I have time to grab a plate and keep rolling LOL! BEST BBQ IN TX hands down!

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve been through there to stop but my brother and I used to team drive and had a lot of BBQ all over the country and this was our absolute favorite. My little dog Daisimae knew when we pulled in by the way the road felt. Lol. I’m telling ya folks, this is the best BBQ on the interstate. If she has Gumbo, yall better get ya summa dat too !! It’s the best. !
