“The "masa" is the bomb! I do wish they had a lil bit of more filling but the flavors are good. The rojo con pollo, are the most popular, so good. the pollo con chille Verde are my favorite. the chille con queso are good but it seems like they use a cheddar mix with a white cheese. I wished they used the a queso fresco cheese. Still the best tamales in EP.“

“Julie and I just stopped in on an impromptu "we're hungry" Saturday eastside drive. It was our first time here. We sampled the Beef Empanadas, tostones and of course a cubano. We were very pleased with the service and the food. The bread for the sammich was perfect. The pork was perfectly seasoned. The mojo and tostones on point. and they have a salsa verde that was delish. MAKE SURE TO GET YOURSELF A COCO RICO to wash it all down. 👍🏼👍🏼 and 5 ⭐'s. “Great place to get fresh corn tortillas just like in Juarez. They make them daily just behind the counter just like in Mexico. If you go early, you can actually see them rolling out of the machine. It doesn't get fresher than that!!They also have flour tortillas, tamales, meat rolled tacos that are ready to be fried, and the freshest chicharrones in town, still warm when they give them to you!“

“Arturo’s cake shop saved my birthday party after an unfortunate date mixup at another cake shop. I was panicking and needing a birthday cake in less than an hour. I called them and told about my situation and that I need a Hawaiian cake and they had it ready for me in 15 minutes with my name and everything. What an amazing business, the cake was beautiful and delicious, it didn’t even feel like a “backup” cake. Thank you again for everything you guys are amazing.❤️?“

“This was our first time at this bakery and we were very pleased with the wide selection of delicious pan dulces And customer service ! We ended up leaving with a dozen pan and 6 chili con queso tamales! As of right now we haven’t gotten to try all of the pan dulces we selected but from wat we have tasted plus the tamales everything is so delicious! I’m very picky when it comes to my tamales but these were by far one of the best I’ve had! The masa has so much flavor and the chili con queso has just the right amount of heat!( for me at least I love a good kick) We will definitely be back! I’m excited to try their burritos next!“

“Quality drinks. Great service every time. I’d recommend to the owners to implement more comfortable seating and power outlets for the studious types. Otherwise, not a bad spot to get a study session in or to meet someone for biz and/or pleasure.

- WiFi password is at the bottom of the receipt so keep that handy.

- Place needs more food options to be a full 5-star study spot for me.

- Drinks are also more on the pricier side for the size.

- In general I’m happy this place is available on the east side.

- Parking situation is not that great considering all the businesses serving their clients within that vicinity so get there before rush hour or you’ll be walking about a block or two from where you parked. That’s not a fault of the cafe but rather the location.

People are generally friendly and willing to share some words with you should you find the courage to be outgoing.“
