ProMeals Meal Prep Delivery

I appreciate the convenience of pro-meals, but there is a serious flavor issue when it comes to the food. Almost everything is flavorless (unless coupled with a sauce/condiment). There's no salt, no depth of flavor, no variety...which is unfortunate because i think the prices + the free next day delivery are great and fit my lifestyle needs.

I've tried a lot of meal prep in Houston and most are nearly flavorless, except this one place called smart meals, which has been my favorite. Their food is really flavorful and well made, the only downside with smart meals is there's less transparency around all ingredients used, longer delivery/wait times, and there's no free delivery with order minimums, so less convenience for business professionals.

Because of the free next day delivery, I'm hoping Pro Meals will improve the food blandness and flavor issues. If that's addressed, I think this would be a superior service to most of the others. Otherwise, I'd recommend you look elsewhere for meal prep.

I've ordered three weeks in a row and everything I have received has been delicious. The food is so fresh and that really makes a difference. Their choices are varied and plentiful. Some of the meals have turned into two meals for me. I especially like that I receive local delivery without the tons of packing and cardboard boxes that are involved in so many meal deliveries. Keep cooking, ProMeals!

The food is good and the pricing is reasonable. The only downside is poor communication. I have placed 3 orders with in the past 45 days. Everything was great until they failed to call me about my late order. I placed order #52273 on the 5th of july and I called them twice for an update cuz of the flood houston had that weekend but they failed to communicate with me. I didnt get my order till last Tuesday on the 16th. 11 days after I order my meals. I thought i found my forever meal prep location but i am wrong. The food is great but failure to communicate is why you guys lost a customer. Communication is key in food services.
