Everything about this place is atrocious. Ordered burban chicken, took one bite and spit it out. The food smelt like DOG FOOD. When I inquired about the quality of the food it's "no refund" how convenient. Take you your $15 and throw the whole business away.

Most authentic Chinese food in the tunnels. It’s also my new go-to place for lunch in One Allen Center. There’s hardly any line and the staff is friendly! It’s steam tables for Chinese food cooked daily. I’ve had the salt & pepper pork, salt & pepper fish, curry chicken, and pork belly. All are tasty and feel authentic! I’ve tried the egg roll and the sesame balls, but the sesame balls are my favorite. I recommend going for the 1 entree combo and do a split between cabbage and rice as shown in my photos. Makes for a tasty balanced meal?.

Very good place to eat during your lunch time, the beef and broccoli was one of the best I’ve ever tasted, without a doubt I would eat here again.

A horrible place to get lunch in downtown. I was terrifing that food quality was less than mediocre, and portions were incrediblely small that not even enough to feed a 5 year old kid. Avoided this place at all costs.

I was very excited to try this place out. When I went last week, around 1:30 pm, they didn’t have sides (rice/noodles), but still had the store open only selling entrees. So, I decided to try again today and left unimpressed. I got the 1 item combo with fried rice, salt & pepper fish and veg egg rolls. Portion of the fried rice was decent, but it was salty and stale. Serving size of fish was too little - 4/5 small cubes, just fitting 1/4th of the small to go box. Fish was dry, rubbery and salty. I was momentarily surprised when they gave 3 veg egg rolls, but they were just shells - no filling whatsoever. Overall, food was a huge disappointment for the $13 (incl taxes) I spent. Will walk a little further and stick to Wok N Roll in 1000 Main, who are super fresh (cooking in small batches).

Nice spot in Houston Chinatown. Really good prices for different types of asian food to hot pots to sushi. Clean and the service was great.
This is the second time I have gone and not disappointed. I got the Banana Frappe and the lunch special Tekka Don. The Banana Frappe is so delicious!! Light and full of banana flavor. The Tekka Don has too much rice vs tuna but the tuna is very tasty. I prefer my tuna in larger chunks. Theirs is mashed up and spread very thinly over the bowl of rice.
We love this restaurant. First, we love how they decorate for each upcoming holiday. Their Halloween and Christmas décor last year was first rate! It is really cool and we like the ambiance. Anyway, to the food and service. The sushi and sashimi is always fresh and first rate. Try the fried oysters as an appetizer... AWESOME!! My GF is Chinese and she enjoys the fried rice and the seafood dishes such as the Shrimp and Squid in a spicy sauce. It is very good. The place also has a good selection of beer, mixed drinks and sake. The biggest, and only, negative we have consistently encountered is the service. It ranges from mediocre to flat out horrible. The staff likes to gather in the back by the prep station and chit chat, giggle and flirt. We were in there just last week and we saw our server twice... when she brought the food and then the check. Our water glasses were filled only once and no one came by to ask if we wanted refills. The place is relatively small in that there is not one place where you cannot see the whole floor yet we couldn't flag down a staff member. It was almost like we were purposely being ignored. I finally had to get up and ask for soy sauce. All in all, the place is good and we put up with the service issues because we love the food and the ambiance. Give this place a try. Just be prepared to have to work to get your server's attention.
This is a great place for Asian fusion food, ranging from sizzling hot plate pepper steak to fried pepper squid, sushi variety, bento boxes, thai dishes, Chinese dishes, some Japanese curry (highly recommended!). The drinks are endless, whether you want them alcoholic or mocktails, they've got a great selection. Lots of beers, cocktails to choose from, and pretty tropical colored and tasting fruit juices mocktails and long list of bubble teas. The best of all is at night the atmosphere is on point. Colored and lit up frosted glass dividers, club music, and great decor and ambience. They even have a nice bar and 2 TV screens to catch up on any sport games. The best? The inexpensive prices and great quality of the food.
After dinner at a nearby restaurant, we visited Café 101 for desserts. The Milk Tempura and the Banana Tempura Ice Cream were excellent. While we did not eat our dinner here, the menu was tempting and included a wide variety of selections. Will return for lunch or dinner.

We had family visiting and they wanted to see our China town. We parked right in front of cafe 101 during our second stop on my China town tour...lol...and decided to walk around first. Once everyone started to get hungry we tried to look for a place that can accommodate all 15 of us. Then I remembered the restaurant where we parked in front of. Nice lady who greeted us. We didn't wait long and they got our table ready. They have so much on their menu (advice: while waiting to be seated grab one of the smaller menu by the front & start looking through it if it's you're first time). Nice young man waited on us, but had to look for him a lot to get more napkins and refills for my tea and water. I ordered a beef noodle (it was alright...Not my favorite...Had better inside 99 Ranch & pho Ben in Sugar Land) & a chrysanthemum hot tea as recommended. It came with honey, I highly recommended this tea. Mom had a Bento box with chicken teriyaki. I recommend that too. I think I ate half of her food. She had some of my soup too. My other family enjoyed their food too. We would have ordered some bubble teas but it was too cold outside. I will definitely come back here again and will review again. Pictures below.
The service is a little slow, and the menu is rather large so it takes a while to figure out what you want. There's an extensive tea menu as well I particularly favored the red rose green tea light on the sugar. Most of their teas come with a lot of sugar in them but they can substitute or remove it if you like. Every dish that I tried was wonderful. They're probably a little more expensive than I think they should be but not unduly so. I really enjoyed the meal and had leftovers to take home as well. Parking is problematic especially when school is in session. Closest thing I can relate it to is a game of musical chairs with high value cars. First time, first sneak into the space! I recommend them is a good lunch spot if you can find the space to park and the time to wait for your order to come. AA+
This became a favorite of the group that I was with. The menu was huge and had a great variety of choices that range from Japanese to Chinese to Korean. They had a large selection of sake. I stuck to the sushi selection and was extremely pleased with how thick the sashimi pieces were. I would recommend this to most and the prices are cheap but they aren't outrageous either. The staff was always friendly.
I just recently had a birthday party over at this restaurant thinking it wouldn't be as much trouble as it was. The fact that our waitress was very rude to my guests pisses me off. She even had the audacity to insult them by bringing a calculator to the table to have them figure it out instead of her; and this was her job, as a waitress. She was very rude and commanding when telling them what to do with the bill. It took 45 minutes for the bill to come out and an extra hour to figure out everyone's part. My friend, who is an experienced waiter, calculated everyone's part of the huge bill and when everyone finally got their exact money with tax and mandatory tip, she said we still owed $40. We had 5 people, excluding our waitress, working on this bill. My friends were robbed by paying extra money. Yes, we were aware in the beginning we had to keep track of what we had but the fact that she made it so difficult and was not flexible with the bill shows the respect the restaurant has for their guests. Two of my guests got sick over their food and the waitress said one can buy another dish or bring a new one. Why would she want the same food that made her sick? The other threw up after leaving the restaurant. Our waitress came up to me and apologized AFTER her boss was yelling and blaming her. I want the waitress to apologize to my guests as well.My mom also had to call three times, in which we were turned down; She she had to write a review in order to get the manager’s attention. This is not the first time I experienced rude service here at this restaurant. Another waitress was giving attitude to my grandparents last time we came. This restaurant just cares for the money and waitresses have poor attitude.
Food is ok. Drink menu is pretty good. Service is sometimes confusing but I think its because they are so busy. They are trying anyway. It can sometimes be a bit loud, but I think it just the nature of the space.
