Visiting from NYC, we ordered the grilled octopus and paella. It was the best paella I ever had. Well seasoned. And the octopus was also soft and tender. We will come here every time we go to the cigar lounge next door

When the weather turns cold I seek out a good caldo de pollo. I definitely use this dish to judge the overall quality of a restaurant. If they put a lot of love and care into their caldo, you know the rest of the menu is good. Such is the caae at 2 Tierras, which bills itself as a. Salvadoran and Mexican restaurant. Tucked into a corner of a strip center on Rankin just east of the North Freeway, this place is easy to overlook but it'd be a shame to miss it. The caldo's...
