I stopped to try shawarma for the first time & spent $20. I decided to get a drink before I left and she says “we’ve got a $5 minimum” so I ask if I can just purchase it anyway since I just spent $20 on 2 shawarmas lol she says no they’re not able to do. Alright bet, bad business.

First time having Nigerian chicken and beef shawarma and was really hoping it would change my mind about Nigerian food. It was MEH. The Arab/Indian shawarmas are definitely better and have more flavor...hands down!!! We waited about 10 minutes for our order and the meat wasn't even hot, like they reheated the meat in a microwave and took it out 45 secs too soon, lol. The young men at the front counter were very hospitable and friendly customer service which is rare for any Nigerian business. Most of the menu is grossly overpriced and there are little to no pictures of the food items. In summation, it was a good first experience but I wouldn't eat there again nor recommend. If you're not Nigerian and looking to explore there are much better options in the area for African cuisine.

I ordered a chicken and meat shawarma but it's really not an Arab shawarma it's like an American type wrap! It had cabbage and pink sauce, it wasn't bad but it wasn't what I expected
