Very chill atmosphere, very clean. Menu has some of the familiar Thai dishes, but they also offer some unique dishes. They also have some interesting drinks. I ordered a Purple Pea Flower soda that was delicious. Service was excellent, definitely need to come back w/family & friends.

I’ve found my new favorite Thai restaurant in the loop. Living in the medical center, I haven’t had many great options until now. Would have to drive to Eado, or Montrose. Eating the food brought back memories of my travels through Asia. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious. The mango sticky rice paired with coconut ice cream was a nice dessert to end the day. The interior really captures Southeast Asian vibes, with plants and a beautiful mix of wood and concrete elements.

Very cute place! The people were very nice and the food was delicious. The edamame was a little bland compared to everything else, but still amazing! Crab ragoons were so good! Thin and small.

Small but organic and yummy
Extremely good Thai food! Everything was fresh and tasted super amazing! The interior was painted rather uniquely, which adds nicely to the atmosphere. Parking is a little difficult, but all in all, I highly recommend trying!!

Nice Thai food. Admittedly went with the basic pad thai, but it was well done and quick. Worth coming back to for other dishes. Small parking lot, so I would walk if possible.

This is now my favorite neighborhood Thai restaurant! Parking is limited, after 6 pm you can park in the neighbouring Mister Carwash. Limited outdoor and indoor seating. The service is good and quick.Food was really good. We go their Massaman curry - which was really good. Pad Kee Mow - the noodles were good but make sure you adjust the spice level. My favorite was the Spicy basil fried rice. Rad na was an interesting find here - it was differently nice. The quantity is good. Excellent value for money. Definitely going back.

Delicious food! I tried the pad Thai (background) and the pad woon sen (foreground). They were both divine!! Delightful service, too. Will definitely come back.

Went here for first time. We ordered dumplings, Tom Yum, Larb, Basil Tofu, and Green Curry Chicken. The food here is better than most of the Thai places in Houston. Everything was very good and fresh, very flavorful, and spot on Thai flavors. The Tom Yum and Larb were my favorite but really everything was very good. The only slightly negative is that I thought there could be more chicken and tofu in the entree dishes. Another thing to keep in mind is that relative to other restaurants, the food is a level spicier, so mild is really medium and medium is spicy when compared to other restaurants (which is more what I would expect at a Thai restaurant but I think most places tone it down in the US - I can't imagine what their Thai hot would be since medium was pretty spice and ai think I can handle spice well.

511 Thai is a big hit for me and my wife. We’re both vegan and they definitely have a very vegan and vegetarian friendly menu. The service is spectacular and the food is a step above your typical Thai restaurant.
We came here on a Monday night around dinner time and it was quite busy, with a good number of students. So not the place for atmosphere since since gets pretty loud. We ordered ika karage for appetizer and they were really good. For main, we had pad Thai and masaman curry with seafood, both very good, bursting with flavors. The service was okay. Parking gets tricky.
Recommended dishes: Massaman Curry, Ika Karaage
Super friendly staff. The food was great and the atmosphere is really great. Good beers on tap, too! We had the pad Thai and Spicy Basil Fried Rice. Can’t wait to come and try more of their menu!! They were also super lovely with modifying my dish for my allergies.
Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options with the ability to modify other dishes to be veg as well
Notice this place open up not to long ago, very convenient considering how close I live. We ordered takeout toward close and the food was amazing. The pad Thai was super flavorful and unlike other places I’ve tried in the past they actually make the food spicy when you ask for it. It looked super nice inside and I saw they had a nice variety of draft beers. Can’t wait to go back and dine in next time!
