Vinh and his staff are always super friendly and welcome us each time we arrive from Austin. This is our favorite sushi place, especially as vegetarians. We make a trip to 7Friday on every roadtrip to Houston! The vegan sushi rolls always impress us and keep us coming back. Great flavors and freshness.

Sushi wasn’t made fresh and it was obvious. We paid about what we’d have paid at an upscale sushi restaurant to hear the team yelling back and forth at one another, and unable to fulfill orders. We waited over 20min for our fried dumpling. It did not live up to the reviews and we wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. There’s also extremely limited seating like next to none, this is not a dine in place it’s a take away with high end pricing.
Update: the response was uncalled for and highly unprofessional. It was our first time visiting and we didn’t get greeted or even had the pleasure of having things explained: our dumpling took over an hour because the girl forgot twice so much so that we had FINISHED eating and decided to cancel the dumpling order. None of the sushi was time stamped for quality assurance and definitely wasn’t fresh regardless of it being for take out and swiftness. Again we wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. If I could give no stars we would.

Came around lunch hour and they were super slammed! The workers were rushing around trying to get everyone's orders fulfilled in a timely manner. Lovely little place, we had to wait a bit to get our order but one thing I will say is that 7Friday will always have our business because they offer a rare commodity that no one else in the area can offer: AMAZING vegan sushi! So many options for everybody and a lovely staff. I will wait hours for 1 roll. I get patience isn't everyone's virtue but you're truly missing out if you don't stop by! (ESPECIALLY AS A VEGAN)

I was solely going off off google maps and google reviews which didn't have the updated hours earlier today. I drove way out there based on that. I didn't give a review on the other platforms that may have had the updated hours.
Was excited to drive all the way here to see this place and get some food to take to my coworkers. 11:20am on Sunday and they are closed. Normal successful restaurants would update their hours both on their website and on Google or yelp. So simple to just update if you are choosing to close the restaurant for the day. Waste…

Incredible sushi! Fresh, flavorful, and artfully prepared. I order the sushi boat and each piece was delicious. The owner is welcoming, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable for my party. Easily one of the best sushi restaurants I’ve ever been to. I’ll definitely be returning!

Usually I take a picture of what I ordered but this time it was different just smelling the freshness like so rich flavours without taking a bite. Sushi is meant to eat without any sauces dips ginger whatever they provide you with. And this sushi is the real deal. I loved every single bite I took. Differently going to order delivery again 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
Everything was absolutely delicious! A lot of food for under $100-3 sushi rolls, tempura shrimp and an order of dumplings-it was all fresh and made well. Will be ordering again!!

The menu is a great mix of classic and innovation. The sushi is always fresh. These guys put in a lot of work to keep their business clean and operating smoothly and it shows. The staff is always very friendly. I will definitely come by anytime I’m in the Cypress area.
