My family is all from the Jersey and NYC and I was excited to have learned about this location from thenumba1guido on Instagram. Visited with high hopes, but left before placing an order. When I asked the guy in charge is he knew about thenumba1guido video and what he ordered, the guy said he yes, and that he too was from Jersey, so he "had street cred." But, he had not bothered viewing the footage advertising the shop where he worked, nor had he bothered to check out thenumba1guido's page, and then tried to upsell me on some off menu breakfast sandwhich, instead of a bagel with a generous amount of cream cheese. The disrespect! He all his coworkers all had on shirts with the slogan RESPECT THE SCHMEAR, which is the rallying cry of thenumba1guido. But, for them its empty words filling the void on a shirt, barely discernable if at all, as opposed to marketing for a product that they have the ability to deliver upon. How disappointing. Best of luck.

Came from Katy and didn’t realize the owner from the Katy location owned this one. The service and food was excellent. Despite being understaffed at times they still had positive attitudes and fast service. The bagels are nice and crispy and the breakfast options are fresh and delicious. I prefer this location over the Katy one, however I prefer the atmosphere at the Katy one more, only because they had Bible verses and Christian music playing which is awesome.

Just recently opened in Fairfield and has quickly become a favorite. If you’ve never tried a French Toast bagel with egg and bacon, this is a perfect place to order. With a multitude of options, there’s a flavor, or bagel for everyone. Super friendly staff and serves Katz coffee. I will definitely be back!

Bagels super delicious come here all the time. The tall African American guy is very rude he don’t speak to any customers that come in and caught an attitude when I asked for some jelly. The lady was very nice!
The best bagels this side of the Mississippi!!!

If you really love bagels definitely check out this place. There lux bagel was a crown favorite and the hungryman was a runner up. Really loved it. Also, check out their bagel spreads. They are great.

Ok this is hard but important.
Spent an hour in the shop today.
We drive 30 min for their tasty bagels.
Spent almost 40min waiting for a totally incorrect order.
I’m not mad about the wait- I understand bagel places are busy on the weekends.
I was not in a rush.
I didn’t complain.
The incorrect order shows they are struggling with being busy.
They started to bicker and blame each other.
I opened and touched the bagel to see what it was- when I gave it back he proceeded to wrap it back up & did not throw it away
(He was standing next to the can)
“sir, I touched those orders, please don’t give them to someone else”
He looked annoyed that I caught him & reluctantly put it “aside”
As I waited for the corrected orders, one of them says “time to lock the doors”
I was not sure what that meant until i was sitting & eating at the table next to the door.
They LOCKED the door to prevent more customers from getting inside.
Closing time is in two hours.
Families kept coming up to the door knocking and looking and wondering why it was locked.
Uber eats drivers too.
I had to ignore those people looking at me for help bc I was not going to manage/help this FIRE hazard situation.
Another guest waiting a long time asked for the manager.
Response was “owner is not here today” no resolution.
My biggest issues are
1) fire hazard locking the door
2) the costumers that were turned away without an explanation.
Why not just let them in, explain it will be awhile and let them decide if they want to wait or leave.
Or Put a sign on the door??
3) offer a free bagel or a small coffee to help keep loyal customers or prevent losing future business?
4) bathroom appears clean but smells like pure strong piss.
Even when you are busy & overwhelmed safety is priority and they should try harder to keep customers coming back.
I won’t go out of my way to come back but if we are in the area I will give them another chance.
the Closest to a NEW YORK bagel so far.
Except they do not understand what WELL WELL toasted means.🙄
Been on the search throughout Houston for NY bagels- will keep trying
