Absolutely amazing place! The food is wonderful and their sauces are spectacular! The owner is so so friendly and helpful when i asked for advice on making my own food and spent the time to make sure I had everything I needed. A must try for sure, I will be going back as much as I can for not only the incredible food but the service and love too. You can tell they really care about you there :)

Every time I come here I am surprised- quality food, great price point, and service was amazing.
The ribeye shawarma was Bom- reminds me of the old phonecia sandwich shop on westheimer

Cool place, good service but average food. Ordered a few different things, hummus was great, flat bread was awesome, rice with lentils was good, however chicken kebobs were a mess. Seemed like they took the kebobs off the freezer and threw it on the grill right away. Flavorfully done but the chicken was not fully cooked on the inside. It was pink inside and you can taste the blood. Please be mindful of that in the future.

100% authentic. Attention to detail in the food to the decorations is amazing. I have never eaten anything here that is not fresh and delicious. My new favorite restaurant. Try the Kibbeh!!

A Houston treasure. Located near the Geights. Food is spectacular as ever. If it is in your budget, the family still makes and imports their amazing, unfiltered olive oil. Friends feel it is the finest one can find in Houston.
I, personally, make my falafel as a 50/50 of the Egyptian style with fave and the more traditional chickpea and they do the same here, resulting in an truly excellent falafel with a great “crunch”.
Their shawarma is now made with ribeye.
Highly recommended. Check out the photos.

If I went on death row tomorrow and got to ask for one last meal it would be this: chicken kabob, rice, greek salad, eggplant dip, bird nest ❤️ bury me full and happy.

Best Arabic/middle eastern breakfast or brunch in Houston. It's family run and they are always there making sure you get amazing food and great service! Highly recommend it! Been going for years (old location and this new one too)

The first time I bought grape leaves here, they were handmade but stuffed with beef which is good but I personally don’t like. Today, I asked twice if these were vegetarian & handmade and not canned, and they assured me they were. Unfortunately, they look and taste exactly like canned grape leaves. Very disappointed to have paid $21 for what seems like the same canned grape leaves I could get at the grocery store for $6. Smh.

My husband & I loved this restaraunt in its old location on Hillcroft but are thrilled to have it now located so close to us in the Heights. The space is beautiful, the owners and staff are friendly - and the food, which has always been delicious, was better than ever! Can’t wait to return !
