We were traveling to HTX for the rodeo (not from here) but wanted to get a different style of food for dinner before getting back on the road to head back home.

We found this gem & let me tell you…it did not disappoint!

My husband and I both ordered the gyro as protein & arabi for the meal. Plentiful! I’m a big fry girl and I actually had to leave a few behind because of how full I got! That is RARE for me lol. But super delicious, sauces are great! (Ask for their spicy creamy one) and great service. We’re patient and willing to answer any questions we may have had. We will make this a spot to stop if we ever find ourselves in Houston!

These guys are awesome! The restaurant is clean, and they are really kind! It's my favorite restaurant for to-go.... I'm here at 2:50 am getting a fresh hot healthy meal! They are blessing the community in big ways!

Reached 10 mins before they closed, and they say they can take my order first and then faked it by pointing out to the grills that they are out. Better update their timings on google for they start closing way before their closing time. I am a regular customer but won’t be coming here anymore. Totally disappointed

We tried both the chicken and beef shawarmas, and they were delicious. The quibbes, however, stole the show - they were easily the best in town! The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. I’d definitely come back!

I have been to this Abu Omar Halal location for the past 5 years and have never been disappointed. Our favorite go-to order is the chicken sandwich with fries. It is truly delicious, and seeing the wonderful staff every time makes the experience even better.

They use illegal and deceptive pricing on ubereats. They have a "buy 1, get 1 free" promotion, but only the second item isn't free pricing. The truth is that it is "buy 1, get %39 off a second". That is an illegal trade practice and deceptive pricing.

The people that work here are some of the kindest,. Most personable people I have had the pleasure of encountering in a fast food environment.
