Fantastic vibe inside. Bright and warm. Wonderful and unique food. Love the coffee accessories available for purchase. Can’t wait to try their beans and use my new grinder!

Unique cafe with retro vibes. I’m following the Houston Cafe Passport recommendations. It does not disappoint! This cafe is perfect for trying something new, and not your typical cafe shop. A bit pricey, however it is a treat worth indulging. Would recommend if you are in the Houston area.

Active Passion Coffee is such a gem in Houston! I came on a day when they had a halal menu and couldn’t resist—I got everything along with a few drinks, and everything was absolutely delicious. The cookie butter iced latte was next level, easily one of the best I’ve had. Service was warm and friendly, and you can tell they really care about their customers. Inside there are only a few spots, but the huge backyard and patio make it perfect for relaxing with friends or just enjoying the outdoors. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to!

I like this place but it could be amazing with a few tweaks. Some suggestions: (i) please less AC, it is always freezing in there, (ii) music is often much too loud and harsh, would be better with some gentler coffee shop/indie music that's more conducive to reading/working/studying/even talking (iii) the food is pretty good but mostly feels pretty unhealthy (tacos are on the oily side, lots of the food is quite salty). Would be amazing if some more healthy options could be added to the menu, maybe some salads, etc. Currently there's just a bowl and a breakfast bowl that I'd categorize as healthy, and if those don't do it for you and you want healthy you're pretty much out of luck. (iv) a larger size option for iced drinks would be great. The glasses are pretty small, and when there is ice in there, not a lot of drink, especially for the price. If some of these changes were made I'd be there all the time. There is truly not enough nice neighborhood coffee shops that also offer good food, so I appreciate that they're here!
Just remembered their nice play area for kids in the back and revised from four starts to five - great place to chill and bring a small child!

Menu and food quality is massively improved from pre-refresh. Coffee remains excellent. Appreciate that the max ask for the tip is 20%!

Good coffee; great food; friendly staff; plenty of shaded outdoor seating; bike pump on-site; high quality coffee related merch; great vibe and bayou access - what’s not to like?

They have upgraded their male u and made it very kid friendly. The vermicelli bowl is great and their coffee program is excellent.
