Found this gem on a recent work trip to Houston. Impeccable service. We were welcomed and treated like old friends or family. The awaze tibs were delicious, perfectly flavorful and spicy. They also happily accommodated my friend’s request for a vegan dinner which she said was fantastic.

This was my first time grubbing at an Eritrean restaurant. When I came inside I wasn’t sure of what to think at first cause the place was dimmer than what I’m used to. Very friendly lady took care of me then proceeded to go cook in the back. All the while she checked in to make sure I was comfortable. Absolute beast she is ?

Delicious late night spot with lounge setting, full bar and delicious food! Don't be intimidated if it looks empty. Everyone is in back playing pool and having a good time. The kitchen is always open and the chef came out to explain the best of the house and how to eat it. The service was so very friendly and both omnivores and vegetarians in our group walked away with full, happy bellies. Would go again in a heartbeat!Vegetarian options: Try something new! Egg Panini and most of the House Specialties like Fata and Shuro are vegetarian.

This was my first time here with a group of friends and it was delicious! It's a family run restaurant and it felt like we were a part of the family - so welcoming and courteous!The food was delicious and spiced NICE. Hella good portions (4 meals stuffed 6 people!) and friendly prices. Will definitely be back for more.
