Delicious choices of ramen and flavours here. Several things to choose from which honestly makes it a little difficult. House made ginger ale also very delicious. Give it all a try.

This was my first time to try Afuri. There is a lot off of the main street. The entrance isn't clearly marked, but it is by the patio, on the left. The interior is clean and an open concept. I sat in a booth. The service was attentive and fast.

I arrived during lunch, and ordered their lunch special, which includes either ramen or a don bowl, a small appetizer/starter, and a drink. Price depends on which ramen/don you order, and adds 6.00. I also ordered a happy hour order of cucumber salad.

Our first time trying this place. We got take out from Afuri and asked for some veggies to be added to a dish even though it was not part of the menu option and not only were they accommodating, the presentation of the veggies added when we got home and opened our meal were a step up. Their customer service and special touches from kitchen staff was excellent. We will be coming back to dine in some time.

The space feels modern yet warm, and the service is welcoming from the moment you walk in. Definitely recommend the ramen — light yet full of flavor. The noodles have just the right texture, and the toppings feel thoughtful rather than overwhelming.

I also loved the small plates. The cocktails are creative (the yuzu-based ones are a must-try) and pair really well with the food.

Overall, it’s a spot that feels elevated. Definitely recommend for both ramen lovers and anyone wanting a fresh, flavorful dining experience in Houston.

Highly recommended for Yuzu noodle here. Tried all type of soup base but the yuzu is the best. Delightful and tasty. Would definitely come back for more yuzu soup base.
