First off, our waiter's name was Tony and he was fantastic, he definitely made a big impression kept us laughing, made food recommendations, just all around having fun with us. The food was delicious. The restaurant was so clean and everyone was nice. Will definitely be back here again.

Aka makes some very tasty sushi. They have a variety of rolls that I have tried and all taste great. I, personally, enjoy the simpler rolls. That is due to the amount of appetizers I get since I usually go during their Happy Hour, which is all day Saturday and Sunday. They have a tone of little dishes ranging from 3-5 dollars and are all well worth it. This place will get full during the nights, so I recommend going during the day time. Recommendations: Salmon with Avocado roll, Agedashi Tofu (Fried Tofu), Basil Wings.

One of my favorite sushi places in Houston going on close to 20 years now. Fish quality is excellent and they have some really creative rolls and nice presentations. Portions are ample too. Service is especially good as well. The parking lot is somewhat difficult as there are multiple other businesses, in the strip center, that reserve parking for their respective establishments. Overall I'd absolutely positively recommend Aka.

The name is misleading. I wouldnt call this a sushi bar; the sushi options are very basic and definitely not the focus of the menu.
