Ako Chicken (Food Truck)

We went to Froberg’s Christmas Tree Farm and AKO was there; the food was not only delicious, it was also flavored perfectly. The gentlemen who took our order was patient and very helpful. I would highly recommend!!!!

The service was wonderful and reviews were great so I was looking forward to the sandwich. But I was heavily disappointed. I got severe food poisoning from the food that i’m still recovering from, which I was shocked because that never happens to me. The food was also very bland even though I requested the 2nd highest spice level. I was excited to have found a new halal spot, but sadly won’t be coming here again.

I know food never comes out like the picture, but mine was way off. The chicken was flat and not crunchy like I thought it would be. It was good taste but not thick and crunchy like all the pictures show it to be. I spent $13 on the big double chicken sandwich. Time was 10 minutes.

Food was already done before I remembered to take a picture. Service was nice and fast taking about 10 minutes from ordering to getting my food. The fries are really good and their dipping sauce reminded me a lot of canes. The chicken sandwich was very good, juice and had good seasoning. The slaw, pickles, and sauce made the sandwich complex and was sweet, sour, and spicy. Only complaint is that it needed a bit more salt but the fries helped out. Food is really good and worth it. For sandwich, fries and a drink was about $12 and a $3 tip which was deserved made it $15. Great little meal for a lunch on your day off and I would go there again.

This is my first time here. Its Juicy, its fresh and its awesome.

Glad you guys moved to Sugarland

Me and My family love it, awesome taste more than expected. My parents are not big fan of eating outside but if they love it I can tell you all is the best. MUST TRY IT!
