We visited Al Aseel Grill & Cafe recently and ordered the chicken kebab and lamb kofta, both were absolutely delicious! The food quality was excellent, flavorful, and freshly prepared. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable, making it a great value overall.
We would easily rate the food 5/5, but the environment brings the overall experience down slightly. The dining area could use some improvements in terms of atmosphere and decor—it’s functional but not very inviting, so we’d rate that part around 3.5/5.
Still, we’ll definitely be back for the food. Highly recommended if you’re looking for tasty and affordable Middle Eastern cuisine in Houston!

Recently, I noticed their rice is not good at all. It had an aroma, and they lost that. I have been a customer since 2019 and they consistently delivered good flavored rice. I don't know what happened now. Last time we ordered 3 rice over chicken and the rice was not fully cooked

Good food but by far the worst and I mean worst bathrooms I've ever seen in any Houston establishment. No soap, floors all wet with urine and the stench is horrible.
