It's a humble place, but with one of the best meals I've tried in Houston so far.

Best mixed grill experience you could ask for. Very sketchy area at night adds to the ambiance
The food is incredible. We sat inside but you can tell a lot of people order out. The staff is very friendly and the food is, again, unbelievably good.

We were so lucky to find this place. My favorite places are a cozy, casual ambiance and family involvement in the kitchen, using their family secret recipes.
It was a sunday afternoon, we were driving on Richmond and saw this place. We walked in, and a friendly face came and took us to the table.
It was raining outside, which made us hungrier, and we started ordering our favorite dishes.
I took a picture of the menu so you can prepare for your next trip.
Our server, Mehmood, was very kind and a great listener. Since this was our first visit, he suggested a few things.
He also recommended the mint lemonade, which was so good, and I thank him for his help.
Food came very fast, but our bread was a little harder. I think it got cold and became harder. Other than rice, chicken, salad, and hummus were very delicious. We loved every bite and the hospitality of Mahmood. Please try this place.
I plan to go to Houston again during the holidays, and love returning for food and drinks. Thanks

Very good Mediterranean food. Fatteh humus is good and the baba ganouj and foul mudammas were excellent. Best grape leaves ever - sprinkled with some spice and sumac. The musakhan whole chicken was ok - too lemony for me but the mandar (yogurt marinated lamb shanks on rice) was very good.

First time here and unfortunately a very bad experience. We ordered two chicken liver dishes which took forever to arrive, and only after we had to follow up. Meanwhile, a group that came after us got their food served before us. On top of that, when paying the bill, I noticed they added extra items like a soft drink and water bottle that weren’t ours. You really need to double-check your bill here. Very disappointing service.

The food is very nice. Prices are unbeatable, but the place needs a lot of work. It feels very old and a little dirty. It almost looks like an 80's bathroom with those ugly tiles.

This has become my favorite spot when I am in the Hillcroft area. The food is out of this world. I usually get the shish kabob plate. It is $12.95 and I have learned to bring an insulated bag with me so I can take half home for dinner. The owner and ‘grill-master’ are lovely and you can see the pride they take in the food and the restaurant.
