Seafood Paella was everything! First time trying Brussels sprouts and it will not be my last time. The service was emaculate and the vibe was top notch. I can see myself coming back for happy hour or dinner very soon.

Wow! That's the word that comes to mind after dining at Américas. What a great place. The restaurant is definitely hip with a very cool and unusual design à la large chairs with unique felt petal patterns on the ceiling. The menu is a well-balanced fusion of Latin America / American cuisine. The steak is delicious - cooked to perfection.

We love the food at this restaurant. From the complimentary plantain chips with dipping sauces, to each and every menu item we have tried, all the food has been delicious. We particularly love the chimichurri marinated meats. Service here is always top notch. This is a nice place to stop and eat if you are on your way to the theater district as it is not to far from here.

Awesome atmosphere. Very quirky, unique, and impressive. The great music also helped with the theme. We had: - Red sangria (good) - Plantain chips with salsa (great--they give these to every table) - Crab cakes (great) - The Churrasco entree (meat: great / veggies: average) - Pargo de Lujo entree (average--would have appreciated more equal portions of the seafood in the dish) - Tres leches (great, and the best tableside dessert presentation I've ever seen)

Pros: the foods are delicious. Nice design. Cons: service is unacceptable. We had reservation for valentine day at 9:45pm. Got to our table around 10pm. Placed our drinks and foods right away because we was starving. Got our drinks 5 mins after that. And the main dishes came out 45 mins after that. And YES THEY FORGOT OUR APPETIZERS. The server placed the main dishes on our table and I asked him if he knew we haven't got our appetizers. He said let him check. Without even saying sorry or anything. If that wasn't valentines and I wanna give my bf a nice experience we already left. Unacceptable for $200 dinner.

One of the best tres leches cakes I've had in Houston! The interior is a bit eccentric but very elegant. A great date spot! Staff are always friendly. Prices are definitely on the high side. If you're in the River Oaks area you have to give this place a try!

This is the best place ever! Food is amazing and the customer service is through the roof. It is a bit pricey but worth every penny!

I'll start by saying that the food is amazing and the first time I came it was a good experience, however I just came for Valentine's day and it was probably one of my worst restaurant experiences ever and I'm not a hard person to please by and means. I'm usually patient but my date and I waited an hour and a half to get our appetizer and that was after we asked where it was and during that time they tried bringing us several different entrees and a dessert at one point which were someone else's. We were ready to leave at this point. Then we got our main plates without silverware and missing one side that came with the food, and then our waitress tried to go get us dessert without having taken our order for it. Even on the bill at the end there were items we didn't ask for and had to correct it. It was such a bad experience overall I may not go back. TL:DR food is great but the service on our last visit was god awful and extremely slow, mixing up several tables's orders.

Americas is a great place to go for lunch or dinner with a variety of options. Lunch time usually isn't too crowed if you need a place to go to get work done or take a client. The food has great flavor and the service has always been above and beyond. To start you get plantain chips with a salsa and chimichurri sauce that is delicious and a nice snack to look over the vast menu and order some drinks. The mango margarita is a must. My favorite items were the lobster corn dogs because it feels like you are back at the rodeo and the lollipop lamb chops. It was my first time to get lamb and I wasn't sure what temperature to get it cooked at but the waiter led me in the right direction with medium rare. And end off dinner with an espresso martini. Everything was very good and would definitely recommend checking it out. The decor is something I've never seen at a restaurant before and it has a cool atmosphere. Great place to check out!

I went the last week, we ordered Churrasco plate (8oz) it wasn’t Churrasco, it was Fajita. Very disappointed.
