The food was as expected and I love the dark castle atmosphere. However, the tables are pretty close together and caused the place to be very loud. So, not recommended if you’re looking for a quiet experience.
PRO'S: Ambrosia Restaurant was a first visit for Houston Restaurant Week. We had outstanding table service for the visit.CON'S: Unfortunately average food and not updated online menu items for wine left us unimpressed.SUMMARY: With thousands of dining places to try in Houston we don't expect Ambrosia will be revisited.
Their HRW menu tasted like microwaved food. We're pretty sure it was store bought donut holes and croissants they reheated in the microwave and store bought frozen Belgium waffles. And the mimosas were flat because they left them sitting out in a big pitcher. Not worth the money. But the service was really good and friendly.
