What a wonderful restaurant! My wife and I have been here multiple times, and each time has been as good as the last leaving us longing to return. I highly recommend the octopus and the beef short rib. But, truly, you can’t go wrong with any dish you choose. The deserts are also exquisite.

This is one of the best, if not the best, restaurant in Houston. From the atmosphere to the food to the service, each element is impeccably and flawlessly executed. I came here for my birthday. My steak florentine and octopus were delicious. My son’s artichoke and pizza were equally good. The service was wonderful. You will be missing out if you live in Houston and do not try this restaurant!

How have I never been here before? This is right on Shepherd near Richmond. Centrally located. The food was amazing. I had the regal fish which was served in parchment paper, and it was perfectly cooked. The potatoes, and fish were cooked just right. The service was impeccable. I would highly recommend this to anybody living in Houston.

Let's start with Mario our waiter, he was marvelous, he was so knowledgeable and attentive he made our time so enjoyable. The lunch menu was fantastic and very reasonable. The food was really good. The wine list was great, a little expensive but a great variety of reds and whites were very good. This restaurant is well worth a try.
This restaurant truly comes alive at night, casting a magical aura that is equally enjoyable during lunchtime as I discovered today. The ambiance is sophisticated, accompanied by gentle music that effortlessly transports me to quaint Italian villages. The tuna carpaccio stands out as my preferred choice with its perfect blend of saltiness and tanginess. Yet, the menu offers an expansive selection for exploration, including a variety of fish, meats, and, naturally, an exquisite array of pasta dishes.

Very nice atmosphere and attentive yet not pushy service. Unassuming locale, but with very nice, upscale appointments inside. Lamb meat balls were absolutely great, as was the sea bass entre (although. The linguini alla vongole (small clams) was extremely good. The slow braised short ribs with burrata with risotto had exquisite taste and texture. For dessert, we shared the puff pastry with custard - very very nice!
Amore is currently my favorite restaurant in Houston, and has been since they opened. The menu, the food, and the service are always excellent. The wine list is not extensive, but it is adequate. It is a relatively quiet place so you can actually hear others in your party when they are talking - no wide blaring music (thank you so much for that, Amore!). It is located a bit off the beaten path, but it seems to be growing in popularity. I am glad about that because I want Amore to succeed and be around for a long time.
We absolutely love this restaurant! The food is outstanding and the service is always stellar!! They are so accommodating and take excellent care of our groups and our late night, after concert dinner times! They never make us feel rushed to leave. Thank you all so much!!
