Updated- I was able to try the “new” Andiron recently. The menu is a bit different. Gone are the expensive Wagyu meats and some new items have been added. Fortunately, the space kept its classic elegance and much of the same great staff remains. The martinis are still the best. I wouldn’t say the place is much less expensive but there are more options at a fair price for the quality and service. I had the market fish with a green pea hummus and curry sauce. The Caesar salad was delightfully unique with plenty of freshly grated Parmesan and a hint of citrus zest. This place is still one of my favorites in town. AND they still have their happy hour, a great way to give them a try.

The value for the money is just not right. And the lighting inside is not ideal - pictures from the dining room make it feel like a living room atmosphere rather than upscale steakhouse. The food was good but not perfect in terms of flavor. Had the tuna appetizer, house salad and strip steak with beet salad. The beet salad is just few beets and not a “salad”. The house salad was the best dish here… shouldn’t be the case in a steakhouse. They also don’t serve any complimentary bread, which is a bit disappointing.

Great date night spot! Loved their take on the mussels and both of our steaks were so flavorful and cooked to perfection. Our server was very attentive and recommended the mushrooms which were amazing! Excited to go back with friends soon.

Celebrating 14 year anniversary here was an amazing experience. Staff (Sara) were wonderful with great suggestions. Food was delicious, my husband had the Wagyu and I had the Bronzino. We shared the Crab Napoleon as an app.

My wife and I have been loyal patrons since this restaurant opened. I have promoted this restaurant to everyone I come across. It has been my favorite fine dining experience since my first visit, and it is my go-to for birthdays, anniversaries, and significant events. Unfortunately, this ends tonight.
Our experience tonight, for my birthday, was nothing short of disappointing. The new menu and emphasis on being "casual" and "approachable" have completely stripped Andiron of what made it special. The service was slow and disinterested. We waited 25+ minutes after finishing our meal, while waiting for a dessert menu, before we finally gave up and flagged someone down for our check. The new menu is bizarre and lacks any form of cohesion. It tries to introduce more casual options like steak frites, but still tries to give the illusion of fine dining. It feels like an identity crisis, especially when the bill is still $300+.
I'm genuinely saddened by the experience we had tonight. Unfortunately, we will not be back.

Had an amazing dinner here tonight! Our server was Sarah; she was amazing! She walked us through the menu and we went with everything she recommended. It was a wonderful experience. We started with the steak tartar, then the crabcake, followed my the wargyu toast. The steak tartar was so good, the crabcake had zero filling all crab, and the wagyu toast was met in your mouth delicious. We then had the rib au poivre with oinion tart and pommes Anna. The rib was so good, onion tart and pommes anna amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant and, if you get the chance, server Sarah. Sommelier Alvin also helped us decide on a delicious wine to pair with our meal. All in all, an amazing experience and we will be back!

We had a very good business dinner with our client at this place. This is a steakhouse with a lot many options also for seafood. They also have some very good wines. The place is very big with good place for all and everyone. We ordered combination of seafood and steaks and were very happy with our selection. This is also a classy place where you can bring in your family and clients and everyone will like it for sure.

Visited Andiron for the first time last week, and had an incredible time. Sara the bartender went above and beyond for us. She flaunted her bartending skills with her knowledge and expertise. Atmosphere was amazing she really knew how to take care of us, service was very much appreciated; we felt like royalty walking in there! We will be back soon!! Great food great drinks great time!!!!
