I love the enchiladas!! Such a shame that they closed after so many years!! 😔😔
I really hope that they open another store. Been going here since 1978!!!
Always have a great time there with family. Food is always amazing. Hopefully later be able to continue going.
Parking: Wish there were more spots
Been coming for decades and it's always good and satisfying. Best cheese enchiladas anywhere. Gooey! Yum!
Definitely worth visiting at least once! I had the carne guisada and I was not disappointed. The rice and beans were good and the flour tortillas hit the spot. The a/c was malfunctioning but we stayed and ate inside anyways. Our server was very nice and the music was good. Kids meals are available. Parking is limited on-site. Highly recommend.
I love everything about this Height's fixture; the people, the atmosphere, and the Columbian Enchiladas with an extra egg!!Everything about this wonderful family establishment is traditionally beautiful!!Thanks, ya'll. See you soon!!
Parking: I always get a good spot!
It is a hidden gem. Too bad they are being muscled out. The parking is small because the owner of the surrounding block refuses to let Andy's customers park where they used to park. Is you want to see bullying. Look no further than how the parking is.Enjoy Andy's while they are still on location.
This place has been here since i was a baby. Nothing has changed, absolutely nothing. Food tastes the same, smell is the same, and inside the restaurant is the same. Brings back memories BUT it can use some cleaning big time! Don't recommend it if you're a clean freak.
Love the cheese enchilada plate. My parents favorite too, especially my Dad (he can only eat soft foods with gravy). This is the meal I pick up for him after his dr.'s check-ups and if on the way home, he thinks I've forgotten, he will quickly remind me about his cheese enchiladas!
Called. Answer was “Andys”. Nothing else. I asked a question about a plate got a No. impolite. Unwelcome. No empathy here cause I really wanted to like them and try an order to go. Unfriendly on the phone.
Restaurantji Recommends

Nothing fancy here. The chicken tostada was very good but the bacon quesadilla on corn tortilla was underwhelming, and their hot sauces were below average. We are from San Antonio and we felt right at home here, but our 1st visit was a little disappointing.
Picked up some cheese enchiladas to go, the quality and taste were not what I expected. Maybe at Andy’s you have to eat it there.
Their parking is tight because these rude developers are trying to push this place out of business. And that's a damn shame. The service was friendly and very accommodating. The food was nice and hot and super delicious. Looking forward to going back.
Kid-friendliness: They were all super sweet to my little tater tot.
Open late, not crowded made for a good experience in this Heights institution. The Taco plate was hot, delicious, and a helpful wait staff made sure we had what we needed. Looking forward to returning soon..
