This is one of the most unique restaurants in houston. If you are a person who loves international spicy foods looks to further. Spice , Flavor , and everything nice. 5 star 4 sure.
Went for Dinner. Great service. Food took a while to get, but it tasted very good. Manager Sentil came by to check on us about how the food tasted and asked if we need anything. Overall, a very good experience for me and my family.
After a long time taking Amma to a South Indian restaurant. We had a great time. All the dishes were very tasty!!!!!
Staff are friendly and service is prompt and really good. Food is very delicious and a good place in Houston for authentic chettinad style food. Will definitely visit again.
Had the buffet lunch today. Great service and the food was authentic South Indian with all the spice and heat! Recommended!
Not sure if the management changed. It used to be a very good restaurant and we always loved eating here. But our experience with last 3 visits were just pathetic. Gave enough chance guys .. But thank you !! We're not coming back. It's not chettinad cuisine, it's greasy oil cuisine.
Best Briyani in town. Loved it!! Very good customer service too 😀
Facility is very clean and staff are all very prompt. Food is always delicious. Will recommend to all my friends.
Amazing food, good quality and definitely worth every penny spent. Quantity and taste is so good. The right kind of spicy. We enjoyed the cuisine and will definitely go back for more.
Just went to lunch ! Completely unorganized..poor food quality.... won't recommend anymore ...

First time went there yesterday for dinner with family. The staff and owner were very friendly. The food was very good. Really liked Fish curry and Daal Fry among other things that we ordered. Overall great experience!!!
We went on Sunday evening. Very friendly and incredibly authentic Chettinad Indian food. If you've never had it, they'll guide you. If you're lucky they'll have a sampler which is most of their dishes on a banana leaf. Great value and also BYOB.
Unique Indo-chinese cuisine with excellent taste, presentation and service. With a menu accomodating people from every race and culture, i believe its the new destination for lovers of good food in Houston...
We have eaten at Anjappar in Singapore many times. When we moved back to Houston, we always craved it. Last time we visited they told us they were coming to Houston. We got so excited! We had dinner tonight and it did not disappoint. They had all our favorites! Excellent food and great service as always.
I can only speak as a Vegetarian. I just had the "Thali" on my first visit yesterday. I certainly enjoyed the spices of the quintessential Chettinad " Kara Kurambu" and " Chettinad Kurma". The rest of the items in the Thali were good but nothing exceptional. What you would get in any good South Indian place. The place was clean. Very friendly helpful staff. Above all the owner couple were willing to listen to comments and suggestions. We are certainly going back, once they have ironed out the kinks, to try the extensive menu a la carte, some unique to Chettinad.
