Kinda pricey but it's Houston coffee. Drinks were really good though.

Honestly I should’ve known cause not everyone can make a matcha latte. The color says it all. Asked them to make again and they refused - also really rude
An interesting coffee shop. And when I saw they sold hot sauce, I had to buy some. I got the antidote it was good. Parking sucks though.

I will say the ambiance isn't horrible and the menu is very creatvite here and has a good variety. I will say I cannot support this place due to the fact that you are required to purchase something every 2 hours to get a code to access the wifi. For how mid the location is that's a very high demand from consumers. A long with the fact that im not sure if they are trying to save money but I was freezing to death.

It's a convenient location for neighbourhood folks to walk their dog to.
It's not really convenient for getting coffee or snacks - I've waited less time for food at restaurants than I have for my coffee order at Antidote.
Edit
Their response to my review, and other reviews, is indicative of their staff & service; stagnant and negligent.

- Street parking is super easy. 8th street is wide open and unrestricted. Idk why reviews say it’s hard, do y’all not have legs?
- Espresso is… kinda rough, sadly :/ mostly tastes like roast, reminds me much more of starbucks/fast food/office coffee than any of our best local spots. They use a roaster based in Marfa.
- Great vegan options including sinfull bars, kolaches, refrigerated wraps, and three different choices for oats.
- Space feels like an old-school Portland vibe with dim lighting, lo-fi music and weird art. Love it. Open pretty late too!

I went to this place with a friend for a Bible Study, and it was perfect for that. It’s a very quiet spot, small but cozy. They offer a variety of desserts, and the prices are reasonable. I really enjoyed my experience here. The only downside is that parking is quite difficult to find!

I’m on a quest to try every small coffee shop in the heights. This morning I headed to antidote. Huge political display in front of this business. Doesn’t matter who it supports or opposes. Keep your politics and your place of business separated. I will not be trying this shop.

Cash not accepted. Sign of the beast. Inconvenience customers who work hard for their money and should be free to spend cash. This coffee shop has taken our rights to have a choice on how to pay. Along with higher prices. Not worth it. My experience and opinions.
Such a great coffee shop! Vibes are great, coffee is better - so happy we had a chance to check out this spot while traveling through Houston.

Great coffee great people work there. I go every day for my morning coffee on the way to work.
Vegetarian options: They have the most delicious vegan cinnamon rolls!

First timer - Much smaller than Black Hole and they don’t have the same selection of breakfast foods. Latte was piping hot and not in a good way. Parking was also rough. Service was okay.
