The food is very good, but they should train the serving staff because every time we have visited the restaurant the waitress is very rude and has treated us poorly. I think that the owners should take care that their employees take good care of their visitors because it depends on that for their business to prosper.
I've always liked the taste of cooking since they had the trailer along the clay road. First time I go to the new place, I usually order the Nica fritanga with roast pork, this time they gave it to me very cold; My mistake was not reporting that they would change it, but I never ask for a change of food in any restaurant for fear of reprisals. The atmosphere is familiar and although it is very small compared to the great demand and clientele they have, a larger place would be good, because even the restroom is limited to one (unisex). I hope they improve the place and pay attention to the service of the dishes (temperature)...

Good food, not too much variety of puertoriquen or Nicaragua food. The dessert that the lady makes is good. If you guys want to try puertoriquen or Nicaragua food, just go to the ones that make authentic food.

Wow, this place is the real deal! If you are looking for ethnic food in Jersey Village, this is your golden ticket. Tucked away in the Steeplechase subdivision away from major streets, this place has gone under the radar. I would not have even seen this place (much less think it was an actual restaurant! ) if it were not for friends who found it. They specialize in Nicaraguan and Puerto Rican food. Just one look at the menu and you can tell this is going to be good. A friend of mine took the tacos nicas, and they came out picture perfect. I got the arroz con gandules, which is a generous salad with fried pork chunks, fried sweet plantains, and rice. The sweet plantains were perfectly fried and sweet. The pork chunks were extremely crispy on the outside, but oh so tender on the inside. It's got incredible taste, y'all. My friend also recommended the Mofongos - which is basically fried chicken or pork chunks. Solid. The plethora of tastes and flavor is so great.
