Absolutely wonderful gumbo. I tried it today just to get a feel for the cooking. I think I found my spot for lunch now. All of the food looked amazing. Generous portions. Great price. Awesome friendly service! You must stop by and give them a try!

? The soul food is amazing. I especially enjoyed the oxtails and mac & cheese.? The staff was very welcoming, enthusiastic, and they actively pull in business from people walking by (that's how they got me). This which is rare, given how most of the restaurant workers in the tunnels act like bored drones.? However, the price for a meal is absurdly high. I probably won't eat here again because there are so many other, inexpensive, options available for lunch.

We hired API catering for our wedding this past Friday and let me tell you!!!! The food was sooooo delicious we did not hear one complaint about the food that was served. From the cocktail hour to the main course. All the service staff was VERY professional and attentive to all the guest. There is no question if you are looking for someone to cater your event look no further book with API. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend!

Wanted a good southern meal on my lunch break this hit the mark. Great quality food at an affordable price. If you are in the Houston Tunnel definitely check this spot out. The fried chicken was fried to perfection, the greens were flavorful and Gouda Mac and cheese was the cherry on top.
