Ariya Suya is a truly a hidden gem lost in the mix of the Houston area. The restaurant possesses an unbelievable taste and excellent services. I was there on a Saturday in the afternoon , with a constant flux of people entering and leaving. It's pretty small with less than ten tables making it very intimate.
To start i had one of their meat pies, which were flaky and golden on the outside, which reminded me of comfort food. It was a great snack to have before the main. For my entree i had the goat suya with sweet plantains as well as fufu and it was wonderful. It was a firm yet soft juicy meat with just the right amount of kick in it. It was the right amount of the heat accompanied by the sweetness of the plantains that rendered the dish sweet and savory and made me crave every single bite.
The waiters were incredibly friendly and helpful, they responded to the questions in regards of the menu, and came up with suggestions to match. The fufu was also suggested to be accompanied by the egusi soup and hobo drink that would've blended perfectly with the flavor of meat. The prices were very affordable especially in terms of the quality and portions.
In all, my visit to Ariya Suya was excellent. I highly recommend it to all people who desire something that is not merely delicious but also unique and contains an original African flavor. Ariya Suya is a restaurant to visit regardless of culture.

Went here on a Friday night and didn’t need to make a reservation which was nice. The atmosphere is cool and the music is nice though just a touch loud to comfortably have a conversation. The serving was okay, not bad not good.

they need to invest in their packaging for uber eats - they leave the food at the messy of the drivers- my order was tampered with ..

The sale lady was on her cellphone till I asked for who should take my order. She asked me if I am dinning in or taking away. She asked me to go and sit down to wait. I went and sat down, she continued with her phone chat. I stayed and no one came for my order. I left the restaurant without the sale girl knowing that I was leaving because she was so engulfed in her phone conversation. I went to the Fadi and ate.

Brought my wife first time and food was good admist a servicing experience. We came back 2nd time and v again the food was excellent with portion to fill you up and very tasty abs well seasoned! The menu is quite extensive with several varieties and I would recommend as one of best or best Suya spot in Houston especiallytheir Suya platter. The ambience is fairly decent and facility is clean. My only complaint was last encounter was with service for a waitress who was very unprofessional, brought water 20 minutes late, missed and forgot our order(twice) and was on her phone why we waited and asked her multiple times about our order. We decided to give a try to support local businesses and told the Manager who provided excellent services and was very apologetic which we appreciated. We felt pleased that we will be back again!

Zero customer service. I walked out of there as easily as I walked in. Front desk should know better to seat dine in customers especially with an empty restaurant rather than keep them waiting while taking phone orders and packing to go items.

Ok listen to me....get the lamb suya. You're welcome! As far as food goes the place is awesome and the servings are a nice proportion. The service itself is #Meh...and the atmosphere is very basic. But my taste buds don't care about the atmosphere.
