The coolest little neighborhood shop. 3 shops in 1 and it’s always changing up the vibe to try something new. Coffee shop (amazing) vintage clothing and goods and a pottery shop as of yet.

This place is fantastic. The espresso is great, with one of the best decaf offerings I’ve ever had. The signature drinks are great, with my favorites being the Grove from their fall menu and the imposter from their signature menu. Their Amalfi is an innovative drink, being almost like a cocktail. The service is always great, the staff are really passionate and helpful
Vegetarian options: They have oat and almond milk options. They have vegan kolaches and vegan chorizo tacos available
Dietary restrictions: They have whole, oat and almond milk, as well as decaf options
Kid-friendliness: This place is great for families

The person behind the counter that rings things up is really rude and impolite. He has no sense of cleanliness. It's a male employee who is behind the counter. Touches the muffins with his bare hands and drops them in the bag. I bought 3 muffins that he threw in a bag on top of each other and smashed them. He does not say thank you. He was texting on his phone. Do you really want this person to greet your customers. It does not seem like he wants to be there. Zero customer service. I paid $20 for three muffins and a croissant and received rude unpleasant service. I had more hopes for this place. I hope they replace that employee who understands not to touch food items with his bare hands and can thank the customer for their purchase.
Great coffee with good vibe in the neighborhood. It’s easy to do some work and great in the morning. Glad to see this place appear!

I stumbled on this place while I was looking for a place to read for an hour or two and was so impressed. It was such a nice coworking space with coffee and other local foods.

I reached out through their website to find out why a company founded around ethical and sustainable practices would be selling animal products. I attached the responses from GM David Olavarreta, and while I appreciated his quick responses, he chose to disengage in conversation without answering or acknowledging my questions about their business practices and beliefs. This leads me to believe that they have something to hide and are greenwashing consumers into thinking that there is a form of animal agriculture more sustainable than the readily available, much cheaper alternative of crop agriculture, which happens to have a much smaller environmental footprint. It also seems that they are operating through cognitive dissonance and can’t seem to consistently apply their justifications for their operations across all aspects of their business model. I have visited their location before and thought is was so wonderful to have a local business focused around bettering the planet and each other through community and action, but behind the scenes I know realize they lack quite a bit of integrity and are more focused on reaching a profit than they are on doing what’s right for the environment and our humanity.

A great place with great ambience, lots of plants and even monitors that you can use for free—not to mention that there are plenty of outlets.
A great place for people who love working at cafes.
The drinks were decent—good although I wouldn’t say they have the best and most unique offerings of drinks/menu options.

My husband and I really love this place! The staff are all so friendly, the coffee is great, and the whole atmosphere is a really cool eclectic vibe. We also love that they have a focus on sustainability, like the clothing being made in-house, and a wine bar as well as pottery classes. Easily one of our favorite places in Houston!

Our family is at AB at least 2-3 times per week. Their baristas are fantastic as well as their food offerings. The staff is always friendly and accommodating especially in the atelier and Sewists’ Room. A true gem in the neighborhood.

MOLD! Mold Mold Mold! I got a matcha latte. It tasted okay, but after a while my throat started to hurt and I got a stomach ache and ended up leaving quickly after.
Won't be coming back.
(The service was good just do something about that food)

Far better coffee/pastry shops in the area.
One of the worst cups of coffee I've ever had. Highly acidic, over roasted beans, and very weak drip. Others in our group said their various drinks were not good either.
Pastries were stale. Like they are made off site on a previous day.
The atmosphere is weird for the sake of being weird. Instead of authentically eclectic.
Staff was friendly. But what Houstonian isn't?
